Clicking and pasting the links works, and was an interesting read, for which, thank you. Adrian

RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted February 11 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 11 How odd. Does this work: https://rogerfarnworth.com/2023/10/19/the-railways-of-east-shropshire-and-telford-the-much-wenlock-and-severn-junction-railway-buildwas-to-much-wenlock/ https://rogerfarnworth.com/2024/01/13/the-wenlock-branch-from-much-wenlock-to-presthope/

Looking at the underlying HTML, Roger's original post has : http://rogerfarnworth.com/2024/01/13/the-wenlock-branch-from-much-wenlock-to-presthope/ Whereas Mikkel's has : https://rogerfarnworth.com/2024/01/13/the-wenlock-branch-from-much-wenlock-to-presthope/ An obvious difference is that in the original, the text (the bit that you click on) has the link as http:// whereas in the latter it is https:// I wonder if the RMWeb software doesn't like http links, but is happy with https ones. rogerfarnworth
Interesting. Each time I have tried sending the link it has been a "https://" link but it appears that the software is converting it to a "http://" link. So I am not sure what is happening. Trying again: https://rogerfarnworth.com/2023/10/19/the-railways-of-east-shropshire-and-telford-the-much-wenlock-and-severn-junction-railway-buildwas-to-much-wenlock/ and https://rogerfarnworth.com/2024/01/13/the-wenlock-branch-from-much-wenlock-to-presthope/ 1

rogerfarnworth
This article follows on from five other articles which covered the Wellington to Severn Junction Railway in the Telford area and this line from Buildwas to Presthope. I am hopeful that the link works! We begin this next article at Presthope Railway Station and travel towards Craven Arms, as far as the village of Longville in the Dale. ……. https://rogerfarnworth.com/2024/06/27/the-wenlock-branch-from-presthope-to-craven-arms/
