TheWeatheringMan Posted January 19, 2014 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Hi, A while ago, although I don't now seem to be able to find it, there was a thread regarding the spark arresting chimneys fitted to ex GWR (and BR built) pannier tanks. About 18 months ago I carefully scaled these from several photographs and turned a batch in brass in my workshop. My researches showed that there was some variation in these as they were virtually 'made to order' as and when required. I've added a couple of pictures of my two panniers so fitted for interest.
