Xerces Fobe2
I have checked with Andy Y and he has not got a problem with this District Dave Forum A lot of LT staff are members and there is a lot of information about Underground both historical and new and a few Underground modellers, many of which are RMweb members as well. RMweb Gold Burkitt Posted June 14, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 14, 2011 I've currently got two LU related threads on RMweb. Firstly, I have on order from Shapeways an N scale 1995 stock driving car, which I am hoping will turn up within a few days. The thread about it is in the Workbench area at http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/37685-n-scale-london-underground-1995-stock/page__p__402005__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=402005. I also have a tentative plan for an entry to the 2011 challenge based on the proposed Brockley Hill station on the Northern Heights extension of the Northern Line, depicted in the present day to provide a home for the above 1995 stock. The thread on it is in the 2011 challenge area at http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/37837-brockley-hill-northern-line/page__p__403657__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=403657 . GoingUnderground
I'm sure you all know about them, but here's two links that you might find useful. London Underground Railway Society. I plead guilty to being a member. They have monthly meetings, near Gt Portland Street. Sadly I've only ever been to one of their meetings,. They publish a monthly journal, Underground News, worth it for the colour photos alone. The editor of Underground News in Brian Hardy. London Transport Museum has its own web site which gives access to some of their collection.
