Evening all from Estuary-Land. I too enjoyed Watership Down, I had no problem with the accents but I've no idea who the actors doing the voices were as the credits at the end was visible for only a fraction of a second. A very interesting program followed on BBC2, Chris and Michaela under the Christmas sky. Very interesting on many levels.

I too have a Zanussi washing machine, never had a problem with it and its 35 years old!

Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Ventured out to Tess Coe's at lunch time to get a Sunday paper and a few items I had forgotten. I was unable to get anywhere near the store as the roads were gridlocked by queues of cars trying to get in. The same applied to other similar emporiums that I tried, in the end I was able to get my paper at a filling station.

The card kit was a one-off produced many years ago before 3D printing was advanced to the level it has reached today. Only three were produced and two of those had serious errors and the third will need some modification to produce an accurate model.

Evening all from Estuary-Land. Just watched Watership Down (part one), looking forward to the second part tomorrow. I've read the book, seen the original film and even tasted the stew. Now time to put the kettle on, be back later.

It looks as if the police were waiting for them last night. The perpetrators were arrested soon after the airport shut down and then the shutdown was only one hour.

Morning all from Estuary-Land. Thoughts are with Sandy and John and hopefully Sandy will be home for Christmas. No doubt many of you will have heard the news that two people have been arrested over the drone at Gatwick. It appears that the police were waiting for them but it will all become clear in due course. Muggatee awaits, be back later.

Evening all from Estuary-Land. Most of the Christmas shopping done now, if I've forgotten anything its too bad. Bob can't injure himself putting up wallpaper, or can he? He is now.

The track of the Bedford front axle is far greater than 4' 81/2", hence the need for special wheels. The rear axle as with many trucks is designed to take twin wheels and are narrow enough for the inner tyres to sit on the rails or as in the case of the Bruff the outer wheels to be dispensed with entirely.

Morning all from Estuary-Land. Just been taking a gander at the Gatwick/drone thread. Apparently its not one of those cheap plastic ones that you can buy over the counter but one of the heavier metal ones that are used commercially. Dry at the moment and sun promised for later but blowing hard. Andy, I would take them to the small claims court or at least threaten to if they don't reimburse you. It appears you have a good case that your loss was due to their negligence. Thats all for now, be back later.

There is tech that can be used but there are ways of avoiding it. It is very easy to 'capture' a drone by taking over its control electronically but this is easily overcome by programming in a set of instructions for a pre-set course. Also this way the operator cannot be detected as there are no signals between him and the drone.
