  1. I recall a layout featuring Blake Hall in LT days at the Shenfield exhibition a few years ago, would that be the same one?
  2. Two roundabouts south of that (Towngate) is even worse. Approaching from the south you have three lanes but only two exits. The lanes are marked L to R, left, ahead and left and right. A considerable number of drivers use the centre lane to turn right despite the right turn lane being empty. You even get some cockwombles turning right from the left hand lane.
  3. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Eric is just having his final shout but the wetness has gone and the sun is shining. I located the Tesco vouchers so I'll get that sorted today, however the flyers I'd picked up in their place have now gone missing, probably right under my nose though. C&C's all round, be back later.
  4. There are links at the bottom left of the page for sharing posts.
  5. Just noticed, where is the 'bang head on wall' emoji? Forget that, found it.
  6. Evening all from Estuary-Land. This lunchtime I went into Tesco's to do a 'big' shop as I had just received my vouchers. I'd gone through the till when I went to get my vouchers I pulled out a bundle of exhibition flyers instead! All was not lost however as the lady at the enquiry desk informed me that I only had to bring the vouchers in with the receipt to get the (double) points added on. An added bonus was I got a 5p per litre off voucher for petrol.
  7. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Wet and windy this morning (outside of the house). The wind has removed the last bit of the long redundant TV antenna, a junction box with a length of cable, being plastic no damage done. Enjoy your holiday of a lifetime Chris and don't forget we will require a full report upon your return. Commiserations to all ailing ER's especially to Mal, Debs and Sandy/John. Thats it for now, be back later.
  8. My mother had exactly the same cancer but instead of strangling the intestine it strangled a main artery that then burst and that was it.
  9. Apparently the rail wheels are easy to remove from the Oxford Defender, simply undo the screws to remove them. One T gauge axle/wheels set will set you back almost £10, check out N scale wheels, they should be a lot cheaper.
  10. Hi again, I've just read Mals post on the Jock 67B thread. It seems to be the same cancer that took my mum only in her case it strangled a main artery until it burst, and that was that. That was over thirty years ago, they managed to get her into hospital but it was already too late.
  11. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. 81C, I have banked with Nationwide for more than 30 years and have never had any problems. Perhaps its because its not actually a bank, its one of the few building societies that didn't become a bank and the difference shows.
  12. With a little modification they could be made into a Fiat from which they were derived. As for the scale issue, careful placement should make it less obvious.
  13. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Club meeting last night, at least we've got the water supply back with a temporary 'by-pass' running across the ceiling. But no word yet about the sinking/cracked floor, our landlords (the local council) are taking their time on making a decision, nothing new there then. Found a cheap diary in Tesco's so I'm busy filling it with various events I hope to visit in the coming year. Thats it for now, be back later.
  14. Oxford Rail make a road/rail Defender.
  15. My e-mail is the same, so many tries and you can't gain access. I found this out the hard way when Auto-correct kept changing my password. It took half an hour talking to a gentleman in India to sort things out, having taken me half a day to discover what was going wrong.
  16. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Awoke to bright sunshine this morning but according to the forecast its not going to last. Club night tonight, hopefully more news on the club room. Thats it for now, be back later.
  17. At least look on the bright side, you won't have to charge up your lap-top again.
  18. It speeded up almost as soon as I had posted. I was just going to click on the smilie when another new post popped up and I ended up clicking that instead of the smilie. No worry, it happens all the time on Facebook.
  19. IIRC the Italian tank also never went into production.
