  1. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Overslept this morning, same as others I couldn't get off to sleep last night until about five this morning and only woke up half an hour ago. Sad news this morning, Des O'Connor has died at the age of 88. A bit more of my yoof no longer with us. Now time to run a late bath, be back later.
  2. Evening all from Estuary-Land. Haven't even ventured out to Tess Coes today but that has allowed me to catch up on Farcebook. The local pub although closed under lockdown has a stall outside selling seafood either hot or cold. I might give it a try by all accounts as all that I have spoken to have no complaints about it. Also Southend pier are replacing the pier railway stock next year and are selling off the souvenir stock re. the old trains, click and collect. Mostly mugs and some crude static models that look as if they are solid resin, well solid something anyway.
  3. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Another do nothing day today, my mojo seems to have disappeared and I can't be bothered to look for it. I will have to watch the Formula I highlights tomorrow. The practice sessions have thrown up a few surprises already. The scooter scrotes saga goes on. The plod have found a garage used by the scrote under arrest containing a selection of bikes and scooters and bits thereof and are now busy checking frame and engine numbers. Soon be dinner time so better check what the use by date lottery shows up.
  4. Morning all from Estuary-Land. A bit grey and overcast here at the moment, and a bit breezy too. Rain is expected any time now. Sounds like some of my days. Having lived in this house for 32 years it gets rather cluttered, even more so as I'm something of a hoarder. Favourite expression "I'd forgotten I had that.".
  5. Likes to have a bit of a buzz in the shower.
  6. Evening all from Estuary-Land. I thought that the scrote on the scooter was out of it but earlier this evening there was another one about. But not for long though as he's been nabbed and apparently this one will be prosecuted.
  7. You will have to wait a bit until 3D prices come down. You are possibly looking at £50 for a body shell alone. There are quite a few people who make transfers to order. Or if you have a printer how about making your own?
  8. Sounds as if its going to be a slippery race:- https://www.gpfans.com/en/articles/59168/shocking-turkish-practice-more-like-rallycross-than-f1-gasly/ https://www.gpfans.com/en/articles/59175/norris-left-crapping-himself-thanks-to-drift-school-birthday-present/ Soon sort out those drivers who have difficulty staying on the track.
  9. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Been bright and sunny most of today. Nipped down to Tess Coes and met my friend down there. His younger daughter, the one that is in care has been given a place in a converted house where young people like her are taught 'independent living', not that in her case she is ever likely to be completely independent. She will have her own room or rooms and is allowed her own furniture hence my friend has to move her bed from South Benfleet to Pitsea. Luckily I know a couple of people who have vans for when moving day comes.
  10. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Had a good nights sleep last night, so good that I overslept by about an hour. No troubles from Arthur Itis last night but as soon as I started to move he hit what seems like every joint. Luckily he went back into hiding pretty quick. In the news this morning the Yorkshire Ripper is dead. There was an interview this morning with the son of his first victim, what he had to say makes you think about the attitude to the victims in such cases. Tea is waiting to be drunk, be back later.
  11. Evening all from Estuary-Land. Andrew P, looks as if you'll have to do what you are told for the foreseeable future. Just found out that the local sorting office has staffing problems due to Covid 19 with many staff out self-isolating etc. The result is deliveries are delayed, I'm not expecting anything urgent anyway. The area affected also covers South Benfleet so I hope Tony isn't waiting for anything urgent either.
