  1. Evening all from Estuary-Land. Just checked my Euro lottery tickets and I've won! Not the £175 million though, I only got two numbers for which I get the grand sum of £2:60. Tea is brewing so I'll be back later.
  2. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Its only just been announced that those places currently in tier 2 but have a high number of Covid cases are being monitored and if the figures do not reduce before the 16th they will become tier 3. Basildon is high on the list and Castle Point (South Benfleet) is not far behind. Frabjoy as Baz would say, just as well I've booked a haircut for next Tuesday. Most of the increase is amongst teenagers and students so with many returning home from higher education it doesn't look good.
  3. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Well we seem to have escaped the snow, not so a bit further north on the Essex/Suffolk border where a couple of inches fell. Wet and windy last night and a bit grey this morning. I wonder what will come up if you Google Linda Lusardi-lemon drizzle cake. Would be interesting if you Googled Linda Lusardi with some other objects just to see what it comes up with. But whatever you do do not put in nurses uniform.
  4. Evening all from Estuary-Land. I must admit that I'm not looking forward to the Covid-19 vaccination. The reason is that I have an aversion to having needles stuck in me. I did hear that some labs are working on vaccines that can be administered orally or by a patch, if they want volunteers to test such means of administering the vaccine here I am. A bit more on the scooter scrotes, apparently when the police checked out serial numbers on the first one it flagged up some parts as from a stolen scooter or two. The second scrote they pulled was also found to be riding a scooter consisting of bits from stolen scooters. They are both likely to be prosecuted for possession of stolen property.
  5. That would be an improvement to the (so called) beers mentioned. Welcome to the retired club.
  6. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Good to hear that ChrisF's procedure went well. The sore foot kept me awake last night, after a few nights when it bothered me little. I suspected that it was eating spicy foods that made it flare up so I had cut the spicy food out and it seems to have done the trick. That was until yesterday when I consumed some salami but that just confirmed my suspicions. Now to run a bath, or go back to bed until the bin wagons dawn chorus.
  7. Evening all from Estuary-Land. Bin day tomorrow, and its also the lesser spotted glass and bottle wagon this week as well so no chance of a lay-in.
