  1. Morning/afternoon from Estuary-Land. Contacted 111 about my 'bug' as it was not improving, if anything it was getting worse. They put me through to the out of hours GP service and I got to pick up my prescription this afternoon.
  2. Still feeling rough, going to lie down for a while.
  3. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Still feeling a bit rough and not having eaten anything since Thursday I was feeling a bit light headed. I did manage a yoghurt for lunch however and I'm feeling a bit better now.
  4. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Still feeling like death warmed up but a bit better than I was. Will call 111 later to get some treatment.
  5. Evening all from Estuary-Land. Still suffering from the bug so its an early night.
  6. At first I read that as. That's the whole of 4B in detonation!
  7. I thought the Bradford vans had a flat twin engine?
  8. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. The water infection came back with a vengence today. I just kept shivering so I had to lay down on the bed this afternoon. The only thing that I'm drinking is water and I'm not eating anything.
  9. Morning all from Estuary-Land. I'm slowly recovering from the water infection but still some way to go yet' I feel as weak as a kitten so another lay down is required.
  10. The infection is back with a vengeance. Time for bed, goodnight all.
  11. Chicken sh1t must be the worse pong ever. I used to be a member of the Maldon club that met in a farm. One year the stuff was spread around the field next door to the clubhouse.
  12. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. The water infection is still there but its receding. Very windy outside but no rain but distant thunder can be heard. Still feeling cream crackered so it will be an early night tonight.
  13. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. I mentioned Arthur Itis this morning and he's still going strong backed up by the eczema which has also flared up. To cap it all I also have a water infection, not so much peeing razor blades but sore nevertheless. The first two are connected with the immune system and hopefully they will die down as they did after the first jab. I've taken some paracetamol and drinking plenty of water to deal with the water infection if it doesn't work tomorrow I'll dial 111. Time to guzzle some more water and then a bit of eye lid inspection.
  14. Express Dairies liveried version arrived yesterday, looks good.
  15. There is just such a diorama on Farcebook.
  16. Morning all from Estuary-Land. Arthur Itis was going hammer and tongs this morning. Not a big surprise with a massive low pressure system heading our way. That brings me on to the weather, there is an amber warning for gale force winds here this evening and tomorrow so batten down the hatches. Have you tried to source LDC from elsewhere? I notice that Tess Coes have LDC but whether or not it meets your exacting standards I couldn't say.
  17. My dad told me that when he was young about 1930 a trick was to put a carbide* tablet into the pan just before someone was to use it. *When dropped in water carbide gives off acetylene gas which is very explosive.
  18. Evening all from Estuary-Land. New purchase has checked out and runs perfectly as one might expect from a brand new item. I don't have a mobile, I don't want one as I don't need one.
  19. A compilation. https://www.facebook.com/davidlopezfilms/videos/507828600255650
  20. We once hired a Hillman Avenger from Hertz (UK). It would have fitted in well with rent a wreck.
  21. I know someone who was asked to read a number plate on his test. The examiner pointed out a car that was the examinees own car. The examiner was none to pleased when he asked the learner to take him to his car. You would think that the examiner would not pick a car parked near a test centre with L plates attached.
  22. Thats what blew the door off.
  23. Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Its been sun/rain sun/rain on and off all day today but I managed to weed a couple of beds in the front garden to give the self sown poppies some breathing space. If the number of young plants is anything to go by there should be a mass of poppies this year. I had left instructions for leaving the parcel in a safe place so I decided to go to Tess Coes. I was just about to go out when the courier arrived so no problem. Item is now duly opened and inspected and the test track will be deployed shortly.
  24. Is that where they got the idea of air bags from?
