  1. I forgot to mention that you should not use side cutters to cut the actual components as this could distort them, it is better to use a knife or saw.
  2. Cutting brass frets I use a side cutter for removing items but if you want to cut the actual components I would suggest scoring along where you intend to cut, depending on the thickness of the fret you may be able to cut through with a knife.
  3. Any pics of the Scania? A conversion of an Oxford fire engine might be possible. The Renault is indeed the former Severn Tunnel rescue truck.

Her mother tells him "Peggy Sue likes to screw you know." Naturally Johnny can't believe his luck. Half an hour later a rather disheveled and angry Peggy Sue comes storming back home and tells her mother "Mum, how many times do I have to tell you that the new dance is called the Twist!"
  8. I built a cambered road on our club layout 'Skelthorpe Lower' by using a 'flat pyramid' of strips of card laid lengthwise and using mounting card for the road surface.
  9. Imagine the possible liveries if they had survived into privatisation, or even sold on to other eastern European states.
  10. It should be spare(s), typo or the dreaded spell check strikes again?
  11. Start price was £4.99, more a case of bidding mania methinks.
  12. I could think of a few captions for that pic. Most of them a bit too smutty for this forum.
  13. He does say 'appears to be incomplete'.
  14. I understand that the LU Museum who are organising these trips has had a massive funding cut, hence the high prices.
  15. Oxford have a road tanker listed for future production in their modern trucks range.
  16. I was thinking of after the fire was out.
  17. You could allways do a Summit Tunnel fire diorama.
  18. They have had the Triang Ships in the catalogue for some time. I noticed that they are going to produce a tanker (BP) with the Scania cab unit, but no illustration yet.
  19. David Cameron should be very careful.
  20. My bits arrived yesterday but I was out when the postman arrived picked them up this morning, everything OK thanks.
  21. Yes I found it and have placed my order. I have also bookmarked the site.
  22. I sent you details as requested but I still have not heard anything yet.
  23. I'm keeping an eye on it, I expect it to go for a three figure sum.
