  1. I can think of several of my former bosses where 21 applied.
  2. I thought that was a standard fitting on all Italian tanks?
  3. Just seen the new Oxford offerings today, they look pretty good.
  4. I like a cat with attitude.
  5. Cararama made an excellent series of American trucks (IHC?) in HO scale that are still obtainable.
  6. And they are spot on for OO scale. The wheels from the Airfix 101 are just right for it.
  7. Not much chance of construction machinery as most manufacturers such as JCB want enormous licence fees.
  8. Someone's put a bid on it!
  9. At least one locomotive fought back, the boiler exploded and bought down the attacking aircraft.
  10. I had a mini once, when I bought it had just been fitted with a new clutch. The problem was whoever had fitted the clutch forgot to install the lock washer. A couple of days later the inevitable happened, the entire clutch/flywheel assembly decided to leave the car, destroying the bell housing.
  11. The Vauxhall slant four engine certainly pumped out the horses, even the 1.6 litre FD Victor was good for the ton. The problem was that they were a b*gg*r to work on, some independent workshops even refused to do any engine work on them. Incidently IIRC they were the first production engines fitted with a toothed cambelt.
  12. I had one of those, could do a ton without any effort even with six persons on board.
  13. Thats not even near mint condition, the correct description should be 'chipped', worth about 10% at most of one in mint condition. I've never seen one in that colour before, if genuine it is extreamly rare and the asking price reflects that. Mind you I would not buy it unless I could examine it thoroughly first.
  14. You know you'll get more if you painted them yellow,
  15. Thats why he handed Andy the drill.
  16. Thats the one, but not from that site, IIRC it was from the Airfield Information Exchange.
  17. IIRC there was two different sizes of Queen Mary trailers, the size was increased on the later ones. A photograph has appeared on another forum sight of a QM trailer being used as a footbridge over a stream, the only modification is the removal of the goose-neck, it still retains its wheels and tyres.
  18. There used to be a series of vinyl rubber wheels in 1/76 scale made for model buses. They might still be available.
  19. I asked the vendor what it was his reply was "Saturday and Sunday were free listing days and I will revise them later" still didn't answer my question.
  20. Although the truck is referred to as a Commando strictly speaking the name only applies to the PSV chassis. A moot point anyway as the only differences was the axle ratio and spring rate. (The lorry was officially the Q4).
  21. That was posted by the MD of Oxford himself so should be OK.
