    Morning all, due to my drinking copious amounts of water yesterday I was up every twenty minutes or so last night to use the loo. It seems to have done the trick however as there is no pain or even irritation and everything looks normal. Off to make an appointment with my GP shortly although by the time I get to see him it will probably be all over. As for the scantily clad young ladies, a former GF's attitude was 'You can look but if you dare touch I'll make a pair of ear rings out of your b***s.'

    Thanks for the good wishes from everyone, still feeling a bit sore down below but I'll be making an appointment with my GP in the morning.

    So far this morning the waterworks have been working as normal so keeping fingers crossed not legs.

    I had an endoscopy about 12 years ago following a similar infection. It was uncomfortable but not that painful, until the anesthetic wore off that is.

    Trip to the hospital this evening, most likely a water infection. Unable to leave a sample for tests as I could hold on no longer just before seeing the doctor. Its eased off a bit now very little if any blood and not as painful, just have to keep drinking plenty of fluids,

    Had a bit of a scare lunchtime, went to the loo and noticed I was passing blood in my pee. Dialed 111 and they said they would make an appointment with the emergency doctor so I'm now awaiting a call back to confirm. No aches and pains other than the usual ones except a bit of soreness at the 'exit' end.

    Actually it cooks food with a blast of hot air. It can also be used as an oven.

    I went out and purchased the 'Air Fryer' today. £134.25 .Taking it out of the box it seems quite simple to use so I'm cooking tomorrows dinner with it. The snail appears to have moved slightly so it must be OK, perhaps its shy.

    Morning all, no sign of movement from the snail on the window for the last 24 hours, I fear that it is now in a similar condition to Monty Python's parrot.

    I was considering one of these to accompany the pair of Sentinels I already have. However they seem to be somewhat oversize so I'm reconsidering. How do they compare size wise to the 03/04 and the 08?

    Morning all, the mountaineering snail is still there this morning having moved about six inches overnight. At the club meeting last night one of the members organised a barbecue, hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken legs + chips. He used a 'hot air fryer' to prepare the chips, basically an enclosed hair dryer that can be used like an oven. I think I might give one a try as using a conventional oven is best avoided in this weather.

    The snail certainly wasn't lobbed by my neighbours, they're on holiday and as I live in the last house in the street I have no other neighbours. It can't have been dropped by a bird as the eves overhang the window, it might possibly have been living in the roof gutters but the most likely explanation is that it climbed from the ground.

    Yesterday evening a mysterious 'blob' appeared on the outside of my bathroom window, this afternoon it had changed position to another part of the window. As the window has only a small fanlight and I am unable to reach it or observe it other than through the frosted glass. I think it is a snail, but how did it manage to get onto the window nearly twenty feet from the ground?
