  1. I feel another leaving by mutual sacking coming on. He won’t go voluntarily - he knows which side of the bread his pay-off is buttered on. Don’t you just hate mixed metaphors?
  2. This is all getting rather boring. Can’t you just lose for once.
  3. So Victor Borge had the right idea all along.
  4. Photo taken from the 2nd floor?
  5. …. and in one match their joint top scorer in Europe.
  6. Travelling back from Falcons v Bristol. What a yawn fest. I think I would be being generous if I even said it was because the teams cancelled each other out. At least the result was the right one.
  7. It means tumble dry for 10 minutes.
  8. Also worth watching the local press (if you still have such a thing). They occasionally have offers - collect three tokens and your local day rover ticket costs a tenner. Or at least it was that before the dreaded lurgy.
  9. Oh, I don’t know about useless for boxed goods. I’m sure our local Hermes driver could lob a few boxes in and be gone before you knew he’d even been.
  10. I’m guessing that you will have already seen this photo.
  11. Some might even check the dimensions before buying.
  12. I’m still trying to work out who, if anybody, from either team, was onside at that maul. Great result though. Well done. Is it all down to Borthwick?
  13. Thanks Andy. I bet you wish forums were only open 5 days a week 9 to 5.
  14. Interesting. A 40% price rise. Does RMweb Gold still exist or am I in for a shock when the next direct debit is taken?
  15. My last RMweb Gold subscription annual payment was just under £50.
  16. Acces to ad free RMweb, current and back issues of BRM and Traction for less than a quid a week. What’s not to like? If, and it’s a big if, we are paying a tad more for World of Railways plus I think I can live with that.
  17. It’s that invisible ink that Andy uses.
  18. Aww, c’mon Andy that’s not fair. Some of those posts were a day old and on the previous page.
  19. Thoughts are with you and your family, Ian.
  20. … and probably a lot easier (for more than one or two) than evergreen plastic strip. It really is fascinating how new technologies are changing modelling and it’s skill sets. They look impressive.
  21. I predate some of the jokes here.… …. but not many of them.
  22. I’ve actually started mine too. Amongst lots of other things. Really must update my thread thingy.
  23. Sept 5th is ‘Be Late for Something Day’. Just thought I would remind you in case you want to take part.
  24. Just Fred Dibnah and his mate.
