Morning all Minus something or other here too. No snow though. No frost on the car either, then I made the mistake of using the screenwash when I got going. Oops. Where did everything disappear too? Had to pull in pretty quick and de-ice. Managed without the AA or drugs.

Good news (Mrs S home) and good news (car). I have a family membership of the AA with all the bells and whistles. It is quite expensive and, touch wood, we haven't had to use them, but it is worth it just for the peace of mind it gives when ny daughter is out in her car. I don't think they do Mac hard drives though.

Morning all Sheet of ice again this morning. It's quite interesting when you are telling the car to go in one direction but it insists on going another.

Morning all Cold here too, so everything is a sheet of ice. It looks like the council are still holding back the salt for the summer months. Moonset this morning was spectacular.

Apparently tonight, or perhaps it was last night, there is the biggest and brightest full moon of 2010. Whichever, it looks absolutely wonderful shining brightly on the snow we have at the moment.

Now that you mention it Oggy, I believe that you are correct. Leicester does ring a bell. Whilst I was looking for the reason I read tha,t for payments to creditors, other football clubs take priority, then the tax people and then finally the small businesses go into the melting pot with any others.

Whilst I agree with what you say (and I'm sure someone will enlighten us as to why there is a penalty for administration) is it harsh by comparison? I'm sure the powers that be at Palace are saying I'm glad they didn't fine is Xmillion pound and just docked us points in the same way West Ham were saying we're glad they fined us and didn't dock us points.

I have just cleared the snow off my daughter's car (what else are dads for?) and have reassessed the situation. There are four inches of snow where it has fallen onto flat surfaces such as wall tops and car roofs. For us, on the coast, that is a good dump in just a few hours. Doesn't 'reassessed' look wrong somehow when typed out?

Morning all Good 2 inches plus of snow overnight here. Usual chaos - all shools closed today. My daughter works in a nursery and is attending an outdoor training day today. 'All weather outdoor activities for young children'. She is both cursing and laughing at the irony of it.
