Moriong alll Another beautiful day in the North East. I can't see any clouds, not even to the west. Did anyone else hear that idiot prattling on about the end of the world yesterday? I can't understand why the Beeb even gave it air time. Unless of course he was correct and the world did end yesterday, in which case, just ignore this post.

If you want advice the go with your heart and choose the one that you like. If you want opinion then I think that second one is downright ugly. Perhaps the photo isn't doing it justice.

Morning all Sounds like they might have had someone earmarked for that job already Mike. I could say don't take a-fence but I won't. Interesting pics Dave. I'm determined to get up there this summer, have a look for myself. I've traced the route now on OS maps but I still might pm you closer to the time for some hints on best places access etc if you don't mind. Have a good weekend all.

Morning all Clear blue skies here again. It has been the same all week. Strange sitting here listening to Dave and TonyG talking about constant heavy rain not that far away. Looks similar for the weekend which is a pity as I fancied popping over to see the steam specials tomorrow.

Good morning That's another Friday 13th negotiated without the world ending. At least I don't think it has ended. My son's Labrador has perfected a doleful look that gets anything he wants from us.......and boy does he knows it. I'm not sure this would work with more hardened criminals though.
