  1. I would not inflict that on anyone. I drew the line at wearing the blue tights though
  2. Morning all I lost the vote this week and get to go to school dressed as Bananaman today. Never mind, it's for a good cause.
  3. Don: In the original 'Rise and Fall' TV series with Leonard Rossitter every time his MiL was mentioned he had the mental picture of a hippo, which flashed on the screen for a few seconds. Edit: Gordon beat me to it, with a clip too. ..................I don't know - these people with all this time on their hands
  4. sI think you have to play the balls where they lie. All this talk of hippos and MiLs brings to mind Reggie Perrin.
  5. Morning all No matter how old they are they will always be daddy's little girl. I know mine is. Even though she got engaged on holiday in Florida yesterday.
  6. Our MiL was rushed into hospital last Monday - looked like she had had a stroke, so duties now consist of a daily visit. She is keeping them all entertained by going round tidying up after everyone. A nurse brought a bowl of water to wash her, disappeared for a few minutes so MIL took her night gown off and washed that in the bowl. We couldn't find her teeth when she first went to hospital. We found them in the oven. Funny but very sad I don't think it a coincidence that I came down with last weeks bug after visiting her in the hospital's assessment ward.
  7. Another one to lookout for in sattelite views is two very similar trains on on the same track just yards apart. Or half a train. I'm sure an example was posted here or on one of the old versions.
  8. A labour of love? I hope the weather is better over there than it is here. Where will the stretch of line eventually run between? As you might gather from the above Don, the weather here is not good either. I'm off to an exhibition at Gateshead International stadium today. I think I'll stick to the models and won't bother with the athletics side. Glad to see that you are still popping in Gordon. Doubly glad that you seem able to enjoy doing the things that you planned for your retirement now that your back is sorted.
  9. I thought the comment about Eastwood might have brought him running.
  10. Morning all Disposition has almost returned to normal. Must have been one of those 24 or 48 hour things. What a turnaround in the cricket Don. I watched it for a short while when Australia were 22-9 hoping that you would get that last wicket straight away.
  11. I was thinking sometime within the next ten years.
  12. .……and somewhere for it to stretch its legs?
  13. Can you get to Wales in a mini?
  14. Blimey. Imodium and boiled rice. The biological equivalent of quick setting concrete. Magnolia coloured too.
  15. Strange. I always thought of magnolia as a sort of light cream. Googled Dulux and there's is. http://www.dulux.co.uk/colour/magnolia
  16. My oh my Don. That wasn't a very good session for SA. Edit: Blimey. 47. You will be a lot happier now. Strange match.
  17. Not sure Don. Could be, but can't decide what. We have also been visiting MiL in hospital so may have picked up something there.
  18. Oh dear. Off work and unable to move out of sprinting range of the bathroom. Deep joy.
  19. Does this slow running and intermittency mean we are about see RMweb V4.0.0? I hope I'm not one of the 15%
  20. I see Capello and the FA have decided that the WAGS will be allowed at the Euro finals The mayor of Krakow has said that he is looking forward to welcoming them. "We have a lot of historical buildings that are really beautiful and worth visiting. We have quite a few interesting museums. We also have some beautiful examples of natural spaces. There is a beautiful and ancient forest. There is also a castle.†Erm ............ shall I tell him or will you.
  21. Ah, one of the old Cobolers then.
  22. For some reasons the rattles and hums on my speakers have been replaced by fizzes, whizzes and bangs tonight. Appropriately Handel is on the radio. I'm not sure what watts are what. I seem to have had them a long time. They must have belonged to a Mr Mordaunt-Short at one time. He has writ his name on the front.
  23. Don't be silly. We all know that they are called golf raquets.
  24. Llandudno? I went there once. Morning all.
