I don't really like poetry I much prefer writing to go all the way across the page. However, although some of Cohen's lyrics are crap (or just too deep for the rest of us to understand?) I like a lot of his work. Mind you, I thought the lyrics to the Ying Tong song were inspired, too

Sorry to hear of more troubles, Don. Always sad to lose someone, even when it's expected. Thankfully it was peaceful. You are obviously going to be relied upon over the coming days and weeks so don't forget to take care of yourself too.

Morning all Whatever happened to these longer days we were told to expect? It's still v. dark. Last weekend before back to work so will have to iron my tie and pack my satchel. Modelling will have to be put on the back burner now.

I suffer enough with scalpels, soldering irons, hot glue guns, razor saws, jelly babies, etc etc etc. Goodness knows what I would do with a chainsaw.

I suspect that if he is expecting to just jump on it and do 160 miles with his friends he is in for a shock anyway. Now, if you could arrange to take delivery of his Lycra shorts too, a strategically placed piece of wet and dry would be erm .. interesting.

Ditto decorations. It's amazing how something that can take a whole afternoon, sometimes longer, to carefully and artistically create can be dismantled and boxed in about ten minutes. It's only next year when you have to untangle things that you wish you had been a bit more careful.
