An opportunity for some method acting?

Greetings from the sunny Lake District I've been on a very enjoyable walk today and am now just relaxing, looking forward to the evening meal and perhaps a malt later. Looking at tomorrow's forecast though, I am undecided as to whether I should leave early and fly before the storm or just find a coffee shop, try to sit if out and travel later.

Good morning all, from a damp and dismal Friday morning in NE England.......... Builders stripped the bathroom out yesterday so ablutions this morning are more challenging than usual. I'm off to the Lake District this evening and Mrs BoD is off to stay with daughter. Forecast for tomorrow looks more promising so should get a decent walk in........ ........ and a proper shave and shower.

It would seem that I no longer know any Nigerian Princes but I have a new friend, a Zimbabwean farmer who needs my help in setting up in this country. I have passed on details of those ERs who need help with gardening.

If I have any 'heavy work' to do I have an old Gurkha Kukri type knife FiL brought back from Burma at the end of the war. It's somewhere up in the loft and very effective. I suppose it should officially have been handed in for disposal.

We occasionally dog sit for my son and really enjoy it. We would love to have a dog of our own but with us both spending so much time out of the house it just wouldn't be fair. I hope your plan comes to fruition iD and you all have happy times together.
