I suppose I am fortunate in that, so far, touch wood, I have mostly avoided medication. The most I have had were some painkillers when I cracked a rib a few years ago and I took them only for a week or so. The side effects were psychedelic rather that physical.
Are you in the in-stent-sive care unit?
Seriously though, hope that you recover well.
I know I am overweight but have a will power of cotton wool when it comes to losing weight. If I do get a wake up call it may be too late so I really should do something.
There is a village to the north of the area shown called Tinwald.
A different spelling but seems quite a coincidence. Does Tinwald/Tynwald and Man have a apecific derivation in a geographical sense?
Morning all
The builders finally left yesterday. We still have to decorate and recarpet/refloor throughout but we are no longer living out of crates and boxes. We are going to have to go through room by room and 'deep' clean but we feel as though we are starting to get our home back. We have survived by telling ourselves that it will be worth it in the end and it will 'all be over by Christmas'.
I should be able to turn my thoughts to modelling again and the new loft layout soon. You don't realise how much you enjoy these things until you are forced to put them on the back burner.
Nah - nothing as sinister - just a haircut......
...... by the permanent wayve team.
Or perhaps a Crewe cut.
.......or in my case a wipe over with an oily rag.
Well, I've just about recovered from my earlier than usual start and am now heading for the NRM outpost at Shildon for the Shildon MR Club's exhibition.
I notice that we were down again earlier, when ERs are normally ERing. Is this some sort of conspiracy? I must have a look in the Grauniad to see if we appear in any secret official lists of undesirables.
Great to hear that, DD.

I didn't offer to do this, I was instructed.
