So, I go to a model railway exhibition, somewhere I really want to go to, and I might occasionally have to queue to get in. Ain't life a bitch.

You mentioned Carlisle and Newcastle. Both have good facilities but Carlisle seems more popular with enthusiasts. To be honest both are less interesting freight wise these days, particularly Newcastle. Both have quite frequent passenger services from a small selection of different operators. Both stations are within a reasonable walk of the main shopping areas.

No problem Neil, as I said, it's not important. I did place the order rather late but if I'd specifically wanted it next day I would have placed it this morning. Im not sure why I don't use my real name here. I joined when Andy first created RMweb and not using your real name seemed the done thing back then. Looking around now that still seems to be the case.

I contributed to that this afternoon. Nothing to do with Christmas though, just decided to use this new fangled bullhead track on the branch. Now will wait to see if you got it off 'The Island' tonight or if it will be Saturday now. It's not important, it's really amazing how quickly you do manage to do it.
