F.A. Cup Final and half the debenture seats, directly opposite the TC cameras, are empty.
How embarrassing for all concerned.
Edit. TC?? It was meant to be TV but you knew that.
Morning all.
Today’s jaunt takes me down the Esk Valley line from Middlesbrough to Whitby with a stop off at Grosmont for the North York Moors Railway.
The Esk Valley line is another lovely scenic run but not as well known as some others.
There are examples of that in all trades. My dad was a time served plumber and one of the many skills he had was reseating valves in taps. I still have the tools he would use. Towards the end of his working life it was easier and cheaper just to replace the whole tap.
Sitting on Newcastle station enjoying a coffee (well it would be rude not too) and I have just seen one if the new LNER Azuma trains on a test run. Very nice it looks too.
I do wonder how many times they have had to change the livery during the production run though.
Morning all.
Once ablutions have been abluted, I am off to Carlisle for a run over one of my favourite lines the Settle and Carlisle.
Unfortunately the changes in the services in this years timetable makes a stopover in Settle impractical.
It is always worth checking the government’s askMid site to check if your vehicle is recorded as insured. I always do this on renewal to make sure my insurance company has updated the policy and database. I believe this is the database that the police use for checks.
I spent the first fifty or so years of my life trying, mostly successfully, to avoid being photographed and then some smart arras decided it would be a good idea to build a camera into their phone..
According to the instructions, and as indicated on the unit, Littfinski state that J should feed the unbroken rail.
Edit: have just read RFS’s post so it seems that they are interchangeable.
I recall, a few seasons ago, Man City and Man Utd were fighting it out over top spot and the cameras panned along the subs benches. The comment at the time was, combined, they would probably have challenged for third.
Condolences on the loss of your friend, Rick.
I'm sorry to hear that your good lady continues to have good and bad days. I feel for her.
Look after yourself too, it's easy for these things to get on top of you without you realising.
Morning all.
Wind was bitter earlier this morning when I went for the paper.
At the moment sleet is falling. What’s that all about?
Ah, it’s May Bank Holiday weekend.
That explains it.
Enjoy.
