  1. No worries I went there about 4 times in search of the last Peaks, there was a good variety of trains about during that time so even if I didn't see a Peak it was still worth going. Are there plenty of farish MK2s about? It's good that they do the Bs and Cs. Cheers Peter.
  2. Hi Cav, Having looked at a few pics, it looks like for your time period the NSE coaches are more common than IC MK1s. MK2s seem to be more common than MK1s too. Pic below was meant to be a class 45 on a DMU replacement so I wasn't too pleased to see a class 31 turn up. I also remember the Newcastle to Poole cross country service was often a Peak which work as far as Brum. The loco worked the return service later in the day. Cheers Peter.
  3. I certainly was. My train set. lol Cheers Peter.
  4. Thanks George, I must admit it's taken ages to get this far. You are certainly getting there with yours, looks like you are going to keep the station which gets my vote. Cheers Peter.
  5. IC MK1s could turn up with short rakes of blue grey stock too. Would look ok with your Peak on the front. There were plenty of loco hauled DMU replacements about in 88 Derby always had a few loco hauled workings in the area. Cheers Peter.
  6. Thanks Cav, What a beast, How are you going for coaching stock? I seem to remember you have some MK3s or the HST and some air cons. Cheers Peter.
  7. Nice line up Cav, I have been looking for a pic of our finished class 31 but couldn't find one. Looking forwards to seeing the 56 repaint. Cheers Peter.
  8. Great Modelling Dave. The latest pics are great, I really like the forth one down. It reminds me of seeing loco's on shed and not being able to get all the numbers, I might need that class 26 for sight as I didn't clear them. Cheers Peter.
  9. Having had some extra wagons added at Llanbourne 25904 is seen leaving for Warrington on the daily Speedlink service. Cheers Peter.
  10. No worries Andy. I just thought I would push the like button on it.
  11. Hi Rick, Do you want me to let Dave And Malcolm know? No probs if you have enough people coming though. Cheers Peter.
  12. Look forwards to it Jeff, Can't say it will make any difference though. Ask Leanne. Cheers Peter.
  13. Thanks Lee, The colour of the pics on the new bit look better than than the station area it must be the newer lights on that side of the garage. Cheers Peter,
  14. Thanks jinty, If you think Llanbourne captures N. Wales then I am happy being as you live there. No playing trains today I am painting the ceiling in the house, wish I hadn't started now. Cheers Peter.
  15. I am on a roll. More pics. 25904 returns from Holyhead on the daily speedlink trip working. 47561 sweeps round the curve on a service from Euston, the class 47 would have replaced the electric loco ar Crewe. 47535 has dropped onto the rear of the Euston train and is ready to depart to Holyhead. Action at the station. 25904 is runing round while 08695 adds wagons to the speedlink service. 08695 has arrived at Llanbourne South Yard to shunt the oil siding. 47106 is waiting to leave the yard LE having arrived on another trip working off the branch. Cheers Peter.
  16. Thanks Marcus, I guess work has to come first, I am sure you will get time on Peak Dale Wood soon. Glad you like the pics can't beat a few banger blue class 40s and 45s. I need to finish the ground frame but I have been playing trains this week. Cheers Peter.
  17. Thanks Andy, I think for a short time nearly everything coaching stock wise was blue grey but the mid 80s saw an end to that with Inter city livery and all the others starting to appear. Cheers Peter.
  18. I think you're right the idea was to get ride of pairs of Cromptons on some of the heavier ballast workings though I don't remember seeing one before I left the UK. It's right on the end of Cavs timescale too so red Stripe gets my vote. Cheers Peter.
  19. Hi Cav, Glad to op went well hope you are back to a 100% soon. I really like 56019. Was the Dutch livery about in your time period? A Dutch liv 56 would be nice. Cheers Peter.
  20. Thanks Mate, you know I love my Peaks. Cheers Peter.
  21. Thanks Lee, Still some more pics to come, 135 has been kept busy, 012 is about too. Cheers Peter.
  22. Hi Derek, Nice pic, It got me looking for a Scotrail Liv BG and I found a Replica one but I am not sure how good the colour on the model is. I do run an air con Mk2 in my rakes now and then though, 45029 is seen with a colourful rake approaching Llanbourne on an Ex Newcastle service. Cheers Peter.
  23. Thanks Andy, I did, I was going to use printed backscenes but couldn't get it to look right. Seeing your painted backscenes made me think about giving it a go, Cheers Peter.
  24. Plus you don't like our Spiders. Cheers Peter.
  25. A few pics from last night. 45141 works a Trans-Pennine service to York. 97406 works loaded ballast to Crewe. A 101 DMU works a local service from Bangor. Cheers Peter.
