  1. Hi Kevin, The new crane looks great, well worth the wait. I hope they have the handbrake on in the van. lol Cheers Peter.
  2. No worries Jinty, The MMP kits are very nice plenty of detail, though I am sure the Dapol 08 will be a nice model. Cheers Peter.
  3. Ha ha thats ok then hope you are working now though. Cheers Peter.
  4. Hi ian, Great news on the house move, Hope all goes well. Enjoy the Railtour and the Exhibition. All the best Peter.
  5. Thanks Lee, That was a quick reply shouldn't you be working. lol Stop wasting you time on RMweb. Cheers Peter.
  6. Thanks Lee, Do you use a container full and leave the loco body in overnight? I have used Caustic soda before but it always worries me. Cheers Peter.
  7. Hi Jinty, I tell you what, I have seen some good weathering over the years but that wagon has to be about the best I have seen. Stunning work mate looking forwards to seeing that 08 weathered up now. Cheers Peter.
  8. Hi Nigel, Glad to hear Weymouth still puts on a good show. Nice pics of the layout too, good to see a class 60 being used on a service train rather than as a super shunter. All the best Peter.
  9. Hi Rob, The new stock looks great always nice to see a few pics of the layout. I saw the Traction Article too did you ever contact them? Just think it's a bit cheeky thats all. Keep us posted on the next project too. Cheers Peter.
  10. Hi Lee, Still liking that class 26. What do you use to strip you loco bodies? Cheers Peter.
  11. Love the drone shots Alan, Layout looks great those shots have a real summer feel about them. Cheers Peter.
  12. Hi Rick, I think you had 2x Mainline MK1s in Maroon if they have the early type bogies I could be interested I need some bogies for another project. Cheers Peter.
  13. Hi Rick, Thanks for the afternoon playing trains. As usual the layout looked superb the trains behaved quite well too apart from the Cargo wagons but then thats a coupler issue and not your track. Cheers Peter.
  14. Thanks Jinty & Rich, I have seen quite a few pics of the train now, but not seen one with OAAs as barriers. Cheers Peter.
  15. Hi Stu, The layout is looking great, I really need to pull my finger out and get some more buildings done on Llanbourne. Sorry to hear about your class 50 reliability 004 was always a bit of a shed back in the day. Good job you have 035 on the roster. How many class 50s do you have now? Cheers Peter.
  16. A few more pics. 25912 is a bit of a new favourite and is seen shunting vans before departing to Bangor. 31319 is also seen working along the coast with the Inspection saloon. Also pictured below is my 37057 which will become 37043 one day. It would mean removing the headlight though so I am wondering if anyone wants to swap a non headlight fitted split box nose section. I am sure I could cut the light off but if some one needs the headlight fitted nose it would save a bit of work. Cheers Peter.
  17. Thanks Marcus, It would be good to see it up and running again. Cumbrian Coast is well worth doing It's like going back in time to the Scottish Highlands. Cheers Peter.
  18. Hi Rich, I have a few pics of 31199 I will have to dig them out. I would be very tempted to get a Peak they are a favourite loco of mine. Cheers Peter.
  19. Love the New loco's that class 31 is a total beast you must be well pleased with them. The point building is looking good too, something I have wanted to do in 00 but haven't found the time yet. Cheers Peter.
  20. Hi Simon, Yes back in Oz went back to work this week which really sucks. Another great video by the way. Can I ask what sound chip do you have in your class 31? Peaks were regular power on the Poole- Newcastle north of Brum right up to the end, I am sure 45012 could handle some air cons. I was talking speedlink trains to some other modellers a few weeks back and there seems to be a lack of knowledge on how trains were formed for arriving at other yards and terminals. As I remember from back in the day at Eastleigh all wagons had a destination and were not just form into trains without some order. At Eastleigh different terminals each had a 3 number code which the chargeman would chalk on the sides before being shunted. Anyway I was thinking of starting a thread to help other modellers. What do you think? Cheers Peter.
  21. Hi Anthony, Welcome back, there has been some change in the last few years but the layout still isn't finished. I need to crack on with it really and stop working on stock. Cheers Peter.
  22. Hi Rich, Thanks for the link. An interesting read. Cheers Peter.
  23. Thanks Rich, Quite correct it is my representation of the explosive train. I only recently found out it wasn't an MOD train. I pressume the vans went down empty and came back loaded. Cheers Peter.
  24. Hi Rich, We did, back at work now it all seems so long ago already. The 25s are both Bachmann so have the same motor I haven't checked the decoders yet but I am going to leave it for now as I have a sound chip to put in one so will try again after that. Nice work on Marsh Lane by the way looks like you have been busy. Cheers Peter.
