  1. Love the weathering on the class 08 and Wagons Jinty. I noticed the OAA opens have been given OBA codes. As far as I know OBAs where different in that the ends where higher on the OBAs. Cheers Peter.
  2. Thanks Andy, Painfully slow progress at the moment unlike your good self. Hopefully I will get more done on the peak this week, and some more done on the layout over Christmas. Cheers Peter.
  3. No progress on the layout but I have painted and fitted a Modelu driver to the Peak and made up some headcodes with white dots, I also made up some battery box clips that where fitted later at some point. Cheers Peter.
  4. Sorry for late reply Alan, I will have to look out for pics of East Dock sounds interesting. Sound does get better with the bigger size of speaker, but the expense is big. I don't plan on having too many loco's but will fit sound eventually. Cheers Peter.
  5. Hi Rick, Hope you are well, good to hear from you. Have you found a job then? If you fancy doing a wagon kit try a Parkside kit they go together really well. Cheers Peter.
  6. Thanks John, I don't plan on building anymore. Cheers Peter.
  7. Hi Brian, Just been catching up. the 4TC and green class 47 look superb. I like your latest class 37 too, Can you tell who's buffers you use please. I did look back a few pages to find if you mention which ones but didn't see anything. Cheers Peter.
  8. Thanks Jinty, yes the Mermaids were a pain to build but I am happy with them. Cheers Peter.
  9. 108 class DMU works a local service from Bangor past the carriage sidings and oil terminal. 97407 ex 40012 is very much on borrowed time as it arrives at Llanbourne on a loaded ballast. Cheers Peter.
  10. Thanks Mate, just been catching up with Motts Lane. Great to see you back into some modelling again. Cheers Peter.
  11. Hi Alan, I did them from Scratch using the Slaters brick sheets. Some look better than others, not sure I would do it again. Cheers Peter.
  12. Thanks Martyn, Always thought Chester or parts off would make a good model railway. Cheers Peter.
  13. Thanks Andy I have more. I will post them up later. Cheers Peter.
  14. Nice one Andy, I must admit I could see this coming after your visit to Jinty's place. You have already overtaken my efforts I am still at boards and plain track. Cheers Peter.
  15. Hi Alan, Sorry it was your N gauge I was talking about, it seems you have the 7mm fairly well sorted in your head. It's the traverser and how i want to do it that's holding me up at the moment as I am not sure how to go about it. The 16t minerals are Lima I am sure you will see them now and then at shows. Cheers Peter.
  16. Hi Jeff, I think I mentioned on here before I have a soft spot for the old S&D which did see 4fs and black 5s so you never know. Cheers Peter.
  17. Hi Wayne. one is the Airfix kit and one is the JB models kit that Airfix bought out. they are both the same. I did modify the backs on mine. Cheers Peter.
  18. Hi Lee, Looking forwards to seeing the class 31 come together. Who does the etch parts? I fitted a TTS class 31 sound decoder to my 31/4. I posted a video on my layout thread. Cheers Peter.
  19. I don't blame you Alan, I am saving for an 08 myself. I am in no hurry with Holmes Road I am just glad I have made a start. I still have things that need to be finished on Llanbourne but I can do a bit of 7mm stuff now and then when I feel like it. If you start a thread on the new layout you might get some help with the trackplan. Cheers Peter.
  20. Hi Alan, That's a big step 2mm to 7mm. Are you still building your new 2mm layout? Or is the 7mm going to take over. lol Nothing much happening with Holmes Road at the moment is been stuck outside under the roof for a few months now and I keep thinking I should finish off the woodwork and start wiring but I have been spending time on Llanbourne recently so the 7mm comes second. Cheers Peter.
  21. Hi Rick, Hows it going, hope you are all well. I have used digital camera's to take video over the years and the quality has never been very good but I have always preferred taking a picture over video. Cheers Peter.
  22. Thanks for that, my class 37 has been on the to do list for ages you never know I might start on it next year. Cheers Peter.
  23. Hi Jeff, Nice to see a few trains on the layout it's good to have a play now and then, as much as I like those type 2s the 4fs look superb always a bit of a favourite of mine. Cheers Peter.
