  1. Couplings or not that weathering looks superb. Cheers Peter.
  2. Hi Andy. Nice set of video's, I see you haven't weathered your Clay Tigers yet. Cheers Peter.
  3. Hi Scoobyra. Having seen a link to this thread on Ian's layout thread I have finally had a chance to catch up. You have done a cracking job the trackwork and scenics look spot on. Hope all goes well at Brockenhurst next week, I am sure Ian has told you they are a pretty good bunch there, I was a member for quite a while and always enjoyed the exhibitions. Cheers Peter.
  4. Thanks Rich, Makes me feel quite old when you say they are now 30 years old now. My main problem with them was the fact that many loco hauled services disappeared when they were introduced, though I have to agree they certainly had a bit of get up and go. Cheers Peter.
  5. Thanks Mate, Still a few more pics to post up and a video. Cheers Peter.
  6. Thanks Jamie, It does show up some dodgy brickwork but I quite like the angle through the arch. Cheers Peter.
  7. Thanks Simon, I do like my 150 it's a nice model. I wasn't a fan of the real thing back in the day though. Cheers Peter.
  8. Thanks Andy, I saw Jinty's weathered blue 25. It looks superb, I am looking forwards to the later body style 25 which I think is coming out soon though I have been saving for a class 20. Cheers Peter.
  9. Thanks Alan, 45036 is getting quite old now it's one of the older Bachmann chassis with a Mainline body which does have it 's faults but I am quite happy with it. Cheers Peter.
  10. More pics. 33010 is picking up a van in platform 4 which it will shunt onto it's train before departing to Cardiff. 45036 is waiting in Llanbourne South Yard on a loaded ballast. A 108 DMU ticks away in platform . A 150 arrives on a local from Bangor. 97407 has just set back into the yard on an engineers train.
  11. The class 26 body is almost done, just need to do the chassis now. This might be a while as other projects have pushed the 26 back down the pile. Cheers Peter.
  12. Thanks Ken, Thanks for the info for doing the radio pod. The roof panel has come out ok, I need to add a pic as I have done more to it now. Cheers Peter.
  13. Thanks Jamie, It would have been good to have a digital camera back in the day, though knowing everything was going to change would have been good as most of my pics concentrated on the loco and not the train. Cheers Peter.
  14. I really liked your silver bullets I remember seeing them most days on the Eastleigh - Quidhampton trip working. I wouldn't mind a few myself one day but they are out of my time period. Cheers Peter.
  15. You might be waiting a while. They are high on the list of things to do, but I have quite a few things that need doing first. Cheers Peter.
  16. Most expensive wagon I have ever bought but yes they are very nice. I just need to weather them. Cheers Peter.
  17. A few more. 47561 ticks over in the middle road. Waiting to work the next Inter City service to Holyhead. 45111 waits for the road to go on shed. A new service on Llanbourne is an Afternoon Speedlink from Crewe with some MOD and clay traffic. I know this traffic wasn't seen on the coast but I remember seeing it at Eastleigh back in the day and have always wanted a couple of clay tigers. Cheers Peter.
  18. Thanks Andy. Hope you are taking it easy. Cheers Peter.
  19. Thanks Cav, I actually posted up the wrong pic I managed to cut the top of the yard lamp off. Cheers Peter.
  20. Still playing trains, here are a few more pics.
  21. Thanks Jamie, I am quite happy for the layout to stay in the garage. Plenty of people get to see it via here and on facebook. Cheers Peter.
  22. Thanks Rick, I can't remember if MK3s had blinds. but either way i don't fancy doing them. Cheers Peter.
  23. Ha ha, We had a great trip up last year so certainly will be up again. Convention maybe depending on cash flow. Cheers Peter.
