  1. Hi Damian, I am glad to see this layout has gone to a good home. All the best with the new fiddleyard and hopefully I will get to see it one day when I visit the UK. Cheers Peter.
  2. Hi Scott, Hope you are going ok. Really liking the progress so far. Cheers Peter.
  3. Thanks heaps for the info on the TTAs it's always been one of those projects I have had in the too hard basket but now most of the other stock is sorted I will have to have a look at doing a few. Cheers Peter.
  4. Hi Mark, Looks like you had an enjoyable show. Some great pics too showing your nicely weathered stock. Looking forwards to see a class 25/9 pottering about. Cheers Peter.
  5. Hi Cav, Good to see you had a good show. The pics and video really show what a great job you have done. Cheers Peter.
  6. Thant roof is really looking good. and I like the weathering too a good start. I would add a bit more black to the mix and make the roof look a bit more dirty and paint the canrail grilles too. Did you scratch build the TTA wagon it looks great. Cheers Peter.
  7. Nice shots Trev, I always rated 33111 back in the day, so glad it's been preserved. I bet you had a few beers while down that way too, the beers festival was pretty good when I went a few years ago. Cheers Peter.
  8. Thanks Nick, I think anyone modelling North Wales in the mid 80s has to have this pair. Cheers Peter.
  9. Thanks Rick, hope you are all well and enjoying the Summer. Bit cold here at the moment. Cheers Peter.
  10. Two of Llanbourne's celebrity loco's side by side. Both common on the Coast during the mid 80s. Cheers Peter.
  11. Thanks Trev, I trust you got a bit of mileage from the Cromptons Down at Swanage last week. Cheers Peter.
  12. Thanks Mark, You probably have the same body as I used. It was one of the earlier released models, a blue pre tops numbered model. Why not do two they were often used in pairs even on trip workings. Cheers Peter.
  13. No worries Mark, That is a superb website, plenty of pictures of the rats in their last days. Something of note with 25904 is that the smaller side grille is not blanked of like most of the others, I only know this because I have done that one myself. Cheers Peter.
  14. A few more video's. 45036 leaves on a ballast working. 150 on a Local service to Holyhead. 97407 works a short rake of Grampus back to Chester. No Sound chip in this loco, the noise is the rain on the garage roof. Cheers Peter.
  15. Hi Mark. 25057, 25059 and 25244 lasted until quite late. 25035 and 25057 were still about but had a painted names. Great layout by the way. Cheers Peter.
  16. Hi Cav, Last time I was over on my own I had to go back the weekend before. But I did manage to do the Swanage diesel gala and my old clubs exhibition. I will get there one day. Cheers Peter.
  17. I didn't get down to Fratton, I have a few pics from one stop off but that's it. I took some pics of a class 50 at Portsmouth one Summer Saturday but the film got lost though I do have a few class 33 pics at Portsmouth. Cheers Peter.
  18. Thanks Jamie, I remember the path down by the stabling roads at Bescot only did it the once though. Second time got told to off. Always good for 20s 31s 58s etc. Cheers Peter.
  19. Ha ha well you have more time to get some stock done. I would like to get to the DEMU show one year, seems like it's normally a good show. Cheers Peter.
  20. Another video from the other day. Cheers Peter.
  21. Thanks Jamie, I was a big fan of the class 33s. When they were working Pompey - Cardiff trains I used to go out for haulage and pics. 47's on Inter- City trains where a daily sight too hard to believe this was over 30 years ago. Cheers Peter.
  22. Hi Cav, The layout is looking good, hope all goes well for the weekend. Cheers Peter.
