  4. Getting bored yet. 31323 is in platform 4 on a van train. 20s are in the loop waiting to leave for Stanlow. over in the south Yard 25059 has picked up some Grampus wagons. 31149 has arrived on a ballast. 25109 sits on the blocks. Cheers Peter.

  6. A few more pics. 40122 waits in platform 3 for a path back to Crewe. 45141 is in platform 1 on a Trans- Pennine service. A pair of 20s are sat in the headshunt ready to drop down onto the oil train. Cheers Peter.
  7. Hi James, Great set of pics, the layout really is looking very good, all the extra detail does pay off. Sounds like you had a good time after the show too eating and drinking with the other exhibitors. Cheers Peter.
  8. Thanks Andy thats the plan, I have been in contact with Digitrains so know what chip to get and suitable speaker. Cheers Peter.
  9. 40122 comes off the branch with the inspection saloon. 56070 works an Empty Fly ash train. and passes 31323 on a van train. Cheers Peter.
  10. Thanks Andy, Improving the points was one of the first things i did. Yesterday I relaid the bay platform siding. It's now further back and gives a bit more room for a signalbox and platform. I am modelling it as out of use as a bay platform siding with the far end removed, but still in use to unload wagons. The pic below should explain things better, though is before I moved the track further back. Cheers Peter.
  11. Looking Good Nigel. Cheers Peter.
  12. Two boards now wired up and tested ok apart from one point motor being very noisy which I replaced with a spare, then a dead frog which the class 08 didn't like. I thought it might be the point motor but it was the wire from under the point, so I soldered on a new wire and all good. Cheers Peter.
  13. Evening Andy, I will go have a look. You are making some good progress. I had a look at the Invertrains website too as I will need a Signal box for Holmes Road. Though I might have to move some track to make one fit. Sound is the next thing I will be doing with some of my 7mm stock I am looking at doing a class 20 first. Cheers Peter.
  14. Thanks Martyn, That's what its all about for me, recreating those days out taking pictures and doing a bit of Bashing. Running some of my favourite loco's from back then plus ones I didn't see much of like the class 40s and class 25s. Cheers Peter.
  15. Thanks Chris, I started the engine shed last year, I should really crack on with it but I have been playing with my 7mm layout recently. I have a few sound chips to fit in the next few weeks so hopefully I can do some more after that. Cheers Peter.
  16. Thanks Andy, I am hoping the new Heljan 7mm 25 is ok, I wouldn't mind one of those. Cheers Peter.
  17. Some more pics from the running session the other day. A bit of class 25 action, 25109 is being used to shunt the oil train back to the station as the yard shunter is busy on other duties. 25059 is seen passing the carriage sidings and then pushing back into the yard on a short engineers train. Cheers Peter.
  18. No worries, you had me worried, as long as you have enough stock to run your layout. I do like the PCAs I haven't done anything about getting some yet but I will do, they are a nice looking kit. Do they go together well? Cheers Peter.
  19. Hi Jinty, Those Banana vans look great, are you thinning down your fleet though? you seem to be selling a few wagons. Cheers Peter.
  20. More pics. Crewe Based 47358 passes the carriage sidings on the return target 92 trip working from Holyhead. 47358 runs round. 33026 ticks over in the middle road while it waits to runs round it's train. Having picked up some HEA coal wagons 47358 works a return Speedlink to Warrington and passes 25109 on a flask train. Cheers Peter.
