  1. This loco started life as 47035 so I added the lights. I think they are fox transfers which having looked at the real thing are a tad too big. Cheers Peter.
  2. More superb pics Andy, I love the bridge and I like how you have done the road, any info on how this was done and what colours you used would be great as I have some road to do on Llanbourne. Thanks Peter.
  3. Thanks Lee, I am happy with the height of the cant it is slightly higher than I originally had it, though I haven't tested all the locos over it yet. If I have problems with the start and finish hopefully I can just pack it out to sort any derailments. Cheers Peter.
  4. Still on my to do list Dave, Honest. I still have the pics Merf sent me. Cheers Peter.
  5. Thanks anyway Brian, the use of old tyres is good to know. Cheers Peter.
  6. Hi Pete, Hope you are well, The bridge yet to be built behind the class 47 goes into the fiddleyard. I will take a pic that will better explain things but the class 47 is on the mainline the other tracks are 3 carriage sidings and a few tracks for the yard all of which go into the fiddleyard it is imagined the rest of the yard and run round for the carriage sidings are the other side of the bridge. Cheers Peter.
  7. Hi Jeff, No new layout at the moment, I have just always liked the 4Fs I have a painted up and weathered Airfix one in my display case, it's 44422 an old S&D regular. Cheers Peter.
  8. Hi Jeff, Love love love those 4fs they look superb, might have to get one one day. Stone walling looks great too. Hi Andy, Your backscenes look great I am thinking of doing the sky on my layout and looked at how to paint clouds on Google the other day, seeing yours has definitely made me want to give it a go. Cheers Peter.
  9. Some pics of 37428, which I did eventually finish last year. Cheers Peter.
  10. I have been very slack with updates on this thread as I generally post on my layout thread, but thought I should post these on here as well. Here are some wagons I am working on. The pics show a Bachmann BDA that I have painted yellow and will re branded as a Brill, the other wagons were started when I was off work with a bad back. They are a Cambrian Salmon, OBA and an OCA. The OBA will become a ZDA Bass as will the OCA. Oh almost forgot I also have a Cambrian Whale waiting to be painted. There is also a Bachmann OCA which has had the inner side thinned down and repainted this will go with another OCA and be part of a Speedlink working. I need to do a Brick load for these so any pics would be useful. Cheers Peter.
  11. Thanks Mark, The pic above is on the none viewing side but looks ok. I need to run a few more trains to make sure there are no problems then it's pretty much ready for ballasting. Cheers Peter.
  12. The bedford was made by JB models but is now sold by Airfix. A nice little kit, it went together really well. Cheers Peter.
  13. Thanks Dave, I am getting there, I need to sort backscenes before I go to much further but I am happy with how its comming along. Cheers Peter.
  14. Hi Rick, That engine house looks superb for something straight out of the box. Nice looking Western too I know you had been waiting for it to arrive, I am sure its getting plenty of use. Cheers Peter.
  15. A couple of pics, The stone wall and rock face are ready for painting, some wagons are ready for transfers and the Salmon and Brill are getting there. I have almost finished an army Bedford which will probably sit on the new road. 47515 has had a chip fitted and was tested on the curve as I have glued in some longer plasticard stripes and raised the cant of the track very slightly. Cheers Peter.
  16. Thanks Mate, I am working on the layout at the moment and some wagons, it's begining to look like a bloody wagon works to be honest. I will post up some pics this week. Cheers Peter.
  17. Looking good Alex, Not sure how you are going to fit those window sections with the two angles so good luck with that, I am sure you will find a way. Cheers Peter.
  18. Hi Jason, My first post here but I have been following your progress. Love you idea for the down pipes I have some to do on Llanbourne so might copy your idea as the ones I have done so far don't look right. Layout looks great by the way. Cheers Peter.
  19. Superb stuff Dave, I am going to be doing some grass on Llanbourne at some point and the static grass seems to be the way to go, I will have to go over the old part of the layout too. Loking forwards to seeing that IS Duff. Cheers Peter.
  20. Another warm day today, Anyway I scanned a pic of A60 still with its nameplates. That will do for Aussie trains back to model pics tomorrow. I have added a nice pic of 33111 just to balance things out. My recently bought Heljan loco will be renumbered to this when I get a chance. Cheers Peter.
  21. No worries Mate, let me know how you go. If you need anymore info get in touch. Looking forward to seeing some pics of Dragon Street when you get time. Cheers Peter.
  22. Lol. The first B class I saw was in West Coast Railways liv, sadly no more. Must admit I quite like the orange and grey liv, Cheers Peter.
  23. Something a bit different, A freind of mine called in yesterday and asked if I could fit a decoder to this. It's an Auscisions B class loco, and a very nice model. The real loco's were built in 1951-4 and B60 was the first built and named Sir Harold Clapp. during the early 80s some Bs were converted to A class and B60 became A60. The loco is still around though I think is stored at the moment but it did work a passenger train earlier this year. Cheers Peter.
  24. That was funny, not seen that before. It looks like BL did the same with the Princess as the Marina and did an updated version with new name. Cheers Peter.
  25. Thanks Rick, He was a top bloke and good railway modeller too, be good to catch up later this month. Cheers Peter.
