  1. Hi Jason, I am known for my bad wrapping of presents, I use way too much paper and sticky tape. I did't write anything on them either, just handed them out this morning. Cheers Peter.
  2. Hi Mark, I am glad it made it enjoy the loco, it sure is a nice little model. Cheers Peter.
  3. Thanks Doug, Merry Christmas to you and your mob. Hope to see you on Jan 25th. All the best Peter.
  4. Merry Christmas to you and your family Kevin, Look like you have been busy. I am over next May so maybe we can catch up. All the best, Peter.
  5. Looking good Alex, Merry Christmas. Cheers Peter.
  6. It took 5 minutes to wrap the presents and about 45 minutes playing trains. Oh I weathered a wagon while I was out there too. Cheers Peter.
  7. Merry Christmas to you and your family Mark, Nice to see a pic of the layout, hopefully we will see a few more next year. Cheers Peter.
  8. Merry Christmas everyone, all the best to you and your families. While wrapping a few last minute presents in the garage I decided to run a few trains. The last one for the day was 37428 on a short van train heading off to Manchester. Merry Christmas, cheers Peter.
  9. Thanks, I will go and have a look. Cheers Peter.
  10. Thanks Guys, They don't look to bad do they, though agree the signal should be the Somersault type. Cheers Peter.
  11. As I mentioned to Rick on his Penhayle Bay thread some very strange visitors were seen at Llanbourne the other day. The S class in mine the T and C class belonged to my friend Alan who passed away in September. It's very tempting to keep such lovely models but they will probably be sold as its would be a pitty for them to sit in their boxes and not see any use. Which is one reason for taking the pics really if the locos do get sold I still have a few pics of them on the layout. Merry Christmas, cheers Peter.
  12. Hi Rick, Had to laugh when I saw the NR class, I was in the garage Tuesday night taking a few pics of some V/line locos on Llanbourne. Merry Christmas, cheers Peter.
  13. Thanks Alex, I haven't done video before, not really sure how to go about it. I will look into it. Cheers Peter.
  14. Thanks Andrew, I will look out for some when they come out as I am no real hurry to get them at them moment. Cheers Peter.
  15. I could do that, it's normally the go at Graham's. Cheers Peter.
  16. I should have said a beer as in one, as I drunk the others you might have to bring your own. lol Cheers Peter.
  17. Thanks Rick, The earlier green did look to light to me and I was thinking these might be a tad dark but certainly better than the light green. Cheers Peter.
  18. Hi Rick, Some nice pics, I do like that Lifeboat its a superb model. I noticed some SR green coaches in post 718 are these Bachmann ones, I was thinking of getting a few of these but would like to know is the green a good colour match? Cheers Peter.
  19. Hi Rick, You would have a few more bugs to remove no doubt, I still have to clean the track but the layout is looking quite good. I am having a meeting here in Jan if you are interested, 25th it could be hot some I will make sure there is beer in the fridge. Cheers Peter.
  20. Llanbourne has been given a clean today, Spring here tends to bring out the spiders and the garage has been home to quite a few recently. I vacuumed the floor today and the layout and removed quite a few dead bugs, hopefully I will get the track clean this week and run a few trains. 37428 was given a test run the other day as I have now fitted a reblown sound chip by Lgomanbiffo, it really does sound pretty good I had a class 25 cip reblown to very nice. Also fresh off the workbench is a YAA Brill. Cheers Peter.
  21. I have finally finished my YAA Brill wagon, basically just a repaint and new transfers. It seems to have taken ages to do but I have a few things on the go at the moment. I may add a load of rails at some point. Cheers Peter.
  22. Thanks Gareth, I think it's sorted now. Cheers Peter.
  23. Hi Ken, Hope you are well, haven't heard from you in a while. My other class 33s have the mod so it didn't take long as I have done a few already. I have a few class 26s and a class 27 that will get done at some point. Cheers Peter.
  24. Not a lot of progress but I am getting there, the class 20s and 33/1 are almost ready for transfers and weathering as is the Brill. Another project I am having a go at is a Lord Nelson. This loco belonged to my friend who passed away earlier this year. He had made a start so it only needs the lining sorted and some weathering. I found the nameplates in a box and the missing bogies for the tender were in a jam jar. I remember Alan starting the loco a few years ago now so its luck we found all the bits. Cheers Peter.
  25. Hi Jeff, Some superb pics from everyone, i am glad KL had a good send off. Looking forwards to KL MK2 though I think you might be spending a bit of time weathering some of your stock now. Cheers Peter.
