  1. Looking very good Cav, I keep forgetting these are in 2mm as well, should look very nice with your Peak rolling over the top. Will be watching to see how you go with the signal too, Llanbourne's signals are needing an upgrade. Cheers Peter.
  2. A couple of pics from the other day, too hot out there to play trains this week. 45029 on the first no heat working of the year leaves for Holyhead. 31323 sits in the yard with a Flask train, the Chargeman and a Shunter have a rest outside the cabin. Cheers Peter.
  3. Thanks Alex, I have some class 20 action for you but I am having problems loading to Photobucket at the moment. Cheers Peter.
  4. Hi Alex, Tell you what seeing that pic I am suprised how big the shed area actually is. I remember seeing 56038 in blue back in the day, any reason for doing another western region loco, would have thought you would have done a midland based loco. My triple grey 56 has a sound chip but isn't the best runner, I don't seem to have much luck with them as my railfreight red stripe one was pretty bad too. Cheers Peter.
  5. Hi Rick, Just played the video and my dog sat up when the dog barked. Nice sleeper train. Cheers Peter.
  6. Hi Jeff, You have been busy, I really didn't like the NSE livery when it first came out but over the years it has grown on me. the 455 does look very good, though the 416s are a great looking little unit. Cheers Peter.
  7. Thanks Rick, I have gone with trying not to move the camera much at all. Mush admit I can't remember hearing the dog barking when I have been at your place. Cheers Peter.
  8. Thanks Jeff, I managed to do that the first time and wasn't sure what I did wrong. Cheers Peter.
  9. Having trouble loading video to photobucket but managed to get 33202 arriving from Crewe on a Bangor service. 33202 is then see running round. Then on the new bit heading for Bangor. I slowed up the train a tad to much as I pushed the wrong button on the powercab. http://s438.photobucket.com/albums/qq110/palm3936/?action=view&current=MVI_0454_zpsa6382ec0.mp4 http://s438.photobucket.com/albums/qq110/palm3936/?action=view&current=MVI_0455_zpsf53badaf.mp4 http://s438.photobucket.com/albums/qq110/palm3936/?action=view&current=MVI_0456_zps1e6797a1.mp4 Cheers Peter.
  10. Hi Pete, Did some video on the new bit today so will try and upload later. Cheers Peter.
  11. Looking good Alex, Suppose you will be changing the number on 56040 at some point then, I have been looking for a blue 56 for Llanbourne but they all seem to be well expensive I might have to paint my Construction one. Cheers Peter.
  12. Thanks Alex, Yep something about good old banger blue. I have been working through my timetable but haven't been taking pics along the way, I will try and do some video as at the moment a pair of 20s are waiting to leave on the oils. There were passengers on the train but they were glued to their seats so all's good. lol Peaks are quite regular so I am sure one will turn up soon. Cheers Peter.
  13. Another video. After class 47613 arrives 47563 drops down onto the train to work it forwards to Holyhead. http://s438.photobucket.com/albums/qq110/palm3936/?action=view&current=MVI_0443_zps4ced8a58.mp4 Sorry about the driving still getting used to the Powercab. http://s438.photobucket.com/albums/qq110/palm3936/?action=view&current=MVI_0444_zps939e1b76.mp4 Oh sorry about the signal too. oops Cheers Peter.
  14. No worries Will, Let me know how you go, Not sure about body lifting handles. I think they are on the model, I will post a pic of 116 I remember seeing tarted up for railtours. I cut the spring off with a sharp knife blade, I normally do a few cuts from the front then work away at the back until they come off. (mind you fingers though I am always cutting myself). Then clean up with a file. Cheers Peter.
  15. Hi Will, It's 1mm rod with some 0.5mm wire pushed through and soldered in place. Cheers Peter.
  16. Thanks Larry, Some useful information there, I have the bits to do a 104 DMU but I am sort of hoping someone will bring out an RTR one. The 120s seemed quite common for a while too. I think if I modelled the late 70s early 80s I would need a lot more locos etc my already overflowing fiddleyard would need a major rebuild. Cheers Peter.
  17. Hi Merf, I have through wired them and they do actually run ok they just wobble and bounce way too much. Ever more than the real thing. High Level kit do a remoter kit so I may end up doing that. Cheers Peter.
  18. Thanks Larry, Some useful info, my 142s don't run very well so don't get used much. I am hoping someone will bring out a decent model of one at some point. Cheers Peter.
  19. Hi Merf, The wallet wont go to three but I am tempted to get a second. I am actually looking at getting another 108 DMU as I think they were still quite common in 86. Thanks Peter.
  20. Hi Jason, Playing trains is what I have been doing over the Christmas break, it's nice to sit back and enjoy all the hard work. Running to a timetable just makes it that much better in my opinion. Good luck with he fiddle yard. Cheers Peter.
  21. Hi Doug, my mistake its the 25th. Cheers Peter.
  22. Looks like I managed to load a video. 47613 arrives on an Inter-City service. Cheers Peter.
  23. Yep, sorry my bad. it is the 25th not sure why I have 22nd in my head, can't blame having too many beers either I've only had the one today. Thanks Rick. Cheers Peter.
  24. Glad to hear that Andy, I did think you still had a few diesels, I will keep an eye out for the new thread. Class 33s certainly rubbed shoulders with the class 50s on the Southern and Western so you might as well get youself one, they are a great loco. Cheers Peter.
