A few more pics of 25059 on the 7D14 daily Speedlink from Warrington. Shortly after 25059 arrives the yard shunter 08472 pulls some of the train down the head shunt. The 25 has fuel tanks for the depot and is seen shunting them to the fuel siding. Using the train loco for this move saves a few shunts for the class 08. 08472 shunts a couple of VGAs and HEAs into the yard. The HEAS will be tripped by the class 08 to the coal yard (off Scene) The train loco then goes back on to it's train ready to depart to Holyhead. Cheers Peter.

Thanks Neil. I will use my method of carpet underlay for the railway side of the fence as I have done on the other parts of the layout but it would be great to borrow your grass master. I have seen some really good results so will certainly give it a try, for the fields and some other area's. Cheers Peter.

A class 31/4 too, probably due to a failed class 47. The old Ped would have been working hard. I think in 88 although Sectorisation was in full swing there were still plenty of loco's spare and borrowing a loco from another sector still went on rather than cancel a train. Layout is looking good. Cheers Peter.

A few more pics taken the other day. 47613 arrives at platform 1 with an Inter-City service from Holyhead to Crewe. 47535 will work the train to Crewe. A 108 arrives at Platform 1 on a local service from Crewe. Cheers Peter.

Hi muddy-blues, Thanks for spotting my typo, I am happy with my two 101s both are Lima with Hornby motors and run really well, actually better than one of my Bachmann 108s. Mine have had a bit of work but not that much. I am not planning on buying the Bachmann one although it does look pretty good. Cheers Peter.
