  1. Hi Kevin, Thanks Mate, Merry Christmas to you and you Family. Looking forwards to your updates on Leaford during next year. Cheers Peter.
  2. Merry Christmas to you Mark, all the best to you and your Family. Cheers Peter.
  3. Thanks Dave, Merry Christmas to you and your Family. I do have plenty of loco's that still need to visit the workbench but I am hoping to get in the mood for doing some much needed buildings next year. Cheers Peter.
  4. Merry Christmas Alex, I think most loco's look good with ploughs we just have to be careful not to model too many loco's with them as more loco's ran without them. My 20121 & 20169 were inspired by my visit to Barnetby back in the 90s I took a few pics of each loco and decided there and then that one day I would model them. It looks like you have a few loco's that you need to get. I am actually at the point where I don't need too many more which is good considering the prices are going up. Cheers Peter.
  5. Hi Rob, Layout is looking great, I like your class 31 with it's ploughs. Merry Christmas. All the best Peter.
  6. Hi Simon, Merry Christmas. The new loco's look nice, I do like 47594 I think there were a few ETH 47 painted in triple Grey. The last pic of the 85 passing the car park is superb. All the best Peter.
  7. Hi Ian, Looking forwards to seeing the signals when they are done. Merry Christmas Mate, All the best Peter.
  8. Thanks Jinty, I wouldn't mind putting some working tail lamps on some of my wagons I will be interested in seeing how you go. I didn't think finding a blue class 20 would be to hard I am sure one will turn up eventually. All the best to you and your Family too. Cheers Peter.
  9. I would say the new Hornby van is a bit better than the older Bachmann model, as it comes with some of the detail missed off the Bachmann model. Cheers Peter.
  10. I take it that the N gauge models are a bit expensive then. Are they a good model though? You will need at least one pair for Millers Dale. Cheers Peter.
  11. Not yet, I wouldn't expect to see the parcel until at least next week. Cheers Peter.
  12. We were talking brake vans before. Here's my railfreight one. A Bachmann model with pipes added whitemetal buffers and roller bearings. Cheers Peter.
  13. No worries, thought you might like them. My mate has a great layout and it's always nice to watch a few trains go round. Merry Christmas. All the best Peter.
  14. Hi Cav and Andy, Be nice to see 20104 modelled in N and 00. Something to do in the New year boys. Merry Christmas. All the best Peter.
  15. Thats the one Alex, I remember seeing it on shed it was blocked in by a class 37 so my pic isn't very good. the ones you found are superb definitely a loco worth modelling. I am sure a few more class 58s on Boxenby will look just fine you will have to balance it out with something in blue. Is there a loco you are short of? blue 37s or 47s don't recall seeing any recently. Merry Christmas. All the best Peter.
  16. Hi James, The wagon looks superb, look forwards to seeing more steel wagons. Merry Christmas. All the best Peter.
  17. Thanks for the Pic Alex, I will have to look at a few class 58s and have a good look at the weathering on them before doing my loco. The video clip of the 20s is great, they are really working hard and sounding superb. I am pretty sure there was a Railfreight grey loco with ploughs which would look great sat on Boxenby. Cheers Peter.
  18. Hi Craig, I will certainly let you know when they arrive and you will see pics of then on Llanbourne. There was a nice 7mm outside layout built by someone on the North Wales coast. I remember seeing pics of it some time ago but nothing recently. When I was over in May I had a few hours playing train on my mates 7mm garden railway. These pics might give you some insparation. Cheers Peter.
  19. Thanks again Merf, I think I have a pic of a London Transport liv van at llandudno Jct, if it was in my time period I would get one. Any shots of a Skinhead class 31 in red stripe liv? Cheers Peter.
  20. Thanks Rich, I think one of the first releases from Hornby was a Dutch liv loco. One of my favourite liveries but out of my time period. Cheers Peter.
  21. That's a Bachmann one Dave. I added the air pipes on the side fitted new whitemetal buffers and replaced the axle boxes with the roller bearing type. I have a few others as well I will post up a few pics if you like. The latest Hornby one has all this detail so would be a good model to get. Liveries suitable for you would be the brown with yellow band down the middle or Railfreight Grey with red band along the top. Cheers Peter.
  22. Class 31323 arrived on the flask today. One flask was shunted into the yard for tripping down the Branch. Cheers Peter.
  23. Thanks Guys, Should have mentioned it's a Skinhead ie no headcode box. Cheers Peter.
  24. Hi Dave, The 101 looks great. Sorry to hear about the superglue. What were you using it for? I only used superglue for bufferbeam detail if I can help it. Cheers Peter.
