  1. Thanks Mark, I quite like the shot too. I will probably take a few more from there. Cheers Peter.
  2. Thanks Cav, Still more stock too do, but I am trying to get some work done on the layout this year though playing trains isn't helping. Cheers Peter.
  3. Thanks Dave, When I started the extension, I wanted a nice long curve and I am happy with how it came out. The ground signal is an Ekon one they go together quite well. I am sure there are better ones out there though. Cheers Peter.
  4. More pics from the other day. 25109 rattles away in platform 1 while waiting to leave on another ECS working. 20023 and 20154 head for Stanlow on the daily oil train. Shortly after and not normally booked for 20s 20121 and 20169 pass on a ballast train from Carnforth.
  5. Thanks Marcus, You could have 40145 when it was in large logo liv. certainly be something different. Cheers Peter.
  6. Hi Dave, Some superb pics. The 101 does look good but I still like that Strathclyde unit is the nuts. Cheers Peter.
  7. A few pics from playing trains today. 47535 drops down onto it's train passing two class 40s in the holding sidings. Trans-Pennine trains meet as 45150 arrives from York while sister loco 45111 waits too leave for Newcastle. 25224 heads down the branch on a flask train. Cheers Peter.
  8. Hi Phil, Great set of pics, thanks for posting then up. Cheers Peter.

Yes it had some NSE stock as well, a superb layout. I remember asking about the point rodding and from that day on I knew I wanted to put some on Llanbourne probably should have ripped up my code 100 track too but back then it was that or make your own and I didn't fancy doing that back then. Cheers Peter.

Hi Jason, I bet you have at least one Clayton I am sure they were on special a while back. Some class 25s too. I know I have stuff tucked away for my next project. Cheers Peter.
  16. Yes yes yes, It looks great Ian. You should be proud of what you have done in such a short time. Hope all goes well for the show I am sure it will. I am sure you will get more invites too I know the New Forest guys would have it at their show. Cheers Peter.

I don't remember Silchester, but Walford Town was one of my favourites from back in the day. I am still in touch with John, he's a top bloke and still goes to the club. I operated Hollybank a number of times once while still very hung over from a few beers the night before, luckily I wasn't the only one feeling average that day. Cheers Peter.

Hi George, It's a small world. I was a member of the New Forest club and was involved in building Mossbank Yard which was the clubs. The engineers yard and depot were built by other club members and all could be joined together. It was great fun to operate. The Mossbank Yard layout was on show last May at the clubs exhibition, I had timed my Holiday so I could spend the day there and had a few hours operating. Cheers Peter.

Hi Andy, You can't beat a nice terminus layout. lol Cheers Peter.
  20. No worries Marcus, I see you have been busy Peak Dale is looking really good, you are not hanging around are you. It makes what I do each week look pretty poor. The Gout's all good at the moment thanks. Cheers Peter.
  21. Thanks Simon, Llanbourne is in need of more people so it's about time I got some done. The ones in the pic are a mix of Bachmann and Dart castings. Cheers Peter.
  22. Hi Jinty, I think the Airfix/Dapol MK2ds are quite good, all I have done is change the wheels fit Kadee's paint the roofs fit no smoking signs on the blue grey ones I painted the white line that goes between the blue and the Grey. I still run old Hornby MK2s with flush glazing as replacing it all with the new stuff is too expensive for me though I do have some Bachmann MK2s to do. The Holiday was good thanks it's nice to get away. All being well the UK is next year. Cheers Peter.
  23. Hi Rob, Pleased to hear the show went well, hope you find that fault before the next outing. Nice pics by the way. Cheers Peter.
  24. Hi David, Just found your new thread. I only went to Knottingley once back in the 80s but it was packed with plenty of loco's. Mainly class 56s, there were a few tampers on shed too. All the best with it mate. Cheers Peter.
  25. Thanks Mate, They are made from the Ratio kits some of which are changed to suit my needs. It would be nice to wire them up and have them working may be one day. Cheers Peter.
