  1. Hi Andrew, The 12mm wheels should sort out the height, as the Hornby wheels are about 13mm from memory so it should drop it 1/2 a mm, plonk then on some track as the flange depth might make a difference too. Cheers Peter.
  2. Hi Arnie, Two very very nice class 37s mate, 046 looks a real beast I really like 222 as well the weathering with rust spots looks spot on. Keep playing trains it's always nice to see a few pics. Hope you get over the man flu soon. Cheers Peter.
  3. Thanks Alex, Running my mate McRats has got wanting to weather mine but I must resist as there are other things in bits waiting to be finished. The other layout is on hold at the moment due to lack of funds, plus I still have plenty to do on Llanbourne. I am sure you could get away with a class 33 on Boxenby, I am sure one would have made it there. 33030 in EWS livery was painted there. Cheers Peter.
  4. Thanks Dave, Some good stuff there, I will have a better look when I get time. Cheers Peter.
  5. Looks great Dave. Who's windows do you use? Cheers Peter.
  6. Glad the pics have help to inspire you. Send me a link if you start a thread on the diorama. Cheers Peter.
  7. A couple of B&W. Great idea Dave, I don't do this enough. Cheers Peter.
  8. Thanks Dave, I don't mind at all, I have a few others to post up so might do a few more B&W. We forget how spoilt we are these days with everything in colour, I remember the Rail mags back in the day normally only had a few colour shots. Cheers Peter.
  9. Thanks Lee, I didn't notice the tree until I put the pics on the computer I was too busy looking at getting the train in focus and didn't see it. I will have to dig out my Inverness based 37/4 and do another shot. without tree. lol Cheers Peter.
  10. A few more from the other day. A Cardiff based class 37 stands in for a class 47 on a service to Holyhead. 25904 works the daily Speedlink service to Holyhead. Slightly unusual power for a Sunday van train, a class 33 working back to Crewe 20s work a ballast. Cheers Peter.
  11. Look like Christmas has come early for you mate. Cheers Peter.
  12. I noticed the other day they seem to be going for a bit. I was looking for a 26/0 and didn't see any. I should have got one when Hattons were selling them cheap. 1st is marked on the Calendar. Cheers Peter.
  13. Hi Rick, We got it running in the end but only on a DC test track, so problem with the sound chip. I think McRats would look good on Penhayle Bay your signals would be the biggest problem, I will bring one of mine up next time I visit, it might be enough to tempt you. Cheers Peter.
  14. Thanks Andy, Both 26s and 27 had Biffo sound and sounded great. Make sure to post up a video of your Western and Warship when you get the sound sorted. Who's sounds are you going with? Cheers Peter.
  15. Thanks John, I think the class 26s look at home on the layout. I was thinking of how I would operate Llanbourne with Scottish loco's while I was at work today. Cheers Peter.
  16. It does Phill, lucky I have a few 26s 27s and 37s in my to do pile. Cheers Peter.
  17. For the first time since May I had a running session on Llanbourne over the weekend. A friend of mine brought some of his Scottish loco's a DC kits crane that he has been working on for ages and a Heljan class 47 converted to 901 which wouldn't run for some reason, we narrowed it down to the decoder. Anyway some pics from the days running. The class 26s and 27 sound as good as they look so got a fair bit of use. More pics to follow. Cheers Peter.
  18. Looks good Ian, Have fun guys. Cheers Peter.
  19. Hi Neil, Just been catching up on your layout. The signals look great as does that split box railfreight 37, I have a dutch one I will repaint into 37032 at some point. Cheers Peter.
  20. Thanks Rick, would love to call in and watch some Hydraulics storm round. Cheers Peter.
  21. Looks great Rick, Cheers Peter.
  22. Hi Andrew, Your latest wagon is looking great, looking forwards to seeing how you go with the VIX vans. The Pullman looks great too it's a pity about the windows. I hope it's lasts a while before looking to bad. Cheers Peter.
  23. Thanks Lee, Great to hear from you, hope you are going ok. Are you back doing any modelling yet? There will be more pics as I need to get the layout running. I haven't run a train in ages. Cheers Peter.
