Apologies for the delay in replying. By all means, once you are settled in come over to take a look at what we are up to. -

Titherleigh made an appearance at the Guildford Astolat show last weekend. An enjoyable day, with the layout behaving reasonably well (a couple of sticky points, and an intermittent isolating section notwithstanding). The layout was operated with Southern stock. A few pictures from the day...

Banbury in N scale - A great time at the Abingdon in March 2024

Good to see Banbury is still out and about. I will be at the Astolat show on Sunday, helping out on our club's 00 layout. Will see you there... -

A little further north, Union Station in Los Angeles. We have seen a lot of busy stations and locations. How about something lonely to follow? -
I take you have returned home now? If so, a few pictures would be welcome. Was there anything of interest in Laos?

I like a bit of Japanese action. Looking at your other thread, you have a nice selection of stock there (a class 185 EMU and what looks to be an EF81 electric). I look forward to seeing this develop. Another vote for Japan Railway Journal.

Passenger left behind...

You do occasionally do the Southampton /Bognor to London Bridge morning peak. There are at least three 'Rmwebbers' to my knowledge on there, boarding in the Arun Valley. We'll say hello next time we see you! -

John Betjeman checks out the ornate station roof at St Pancras. Next, a station where the roof has been removed. -

Hi. If you are interested, take a look at our website... https://www.liphookmrc.com We are always on the lookout for new members. -
Dean Sidings produce (assuming it has been released) an E4. Not sure of the chassis though... In terms of others in N, you have the M7 and Q1 as r-t-r (both were visitors to Midhurst). The Drummond 700 from Union Mills is also another option). The Ivatt 2-6-2 was used on former SR lines, but not on the Midhurst lines. If diesels are on the agenda, then the 08 and 33 also visited the branch.

There is/was a very nice P4 layout set in West Wittering... http://www.lbscr.com/west-wittering/ Am I right in recalling that Keith Smith (one half of the Middleton Press guys) had something to do with this? Nice to see another Sussex-based layout. I used to go to school and college in Chichester, so visited the area quite frequently...especially the Crown and Anchor in Dell Quay! Look forward to seeing this layout develop. Are you a local?
