  1. 'Nothing in this announcement for me' (I'm freight-only these days), but........... Wow! How wonderful! I'd certainly be up for something in BR Departmental livery, though...
  2. We sometimes get a 'cat food strike', when we have to be slightly inventive. I sometimes crush their favourite cat biscuits up with a pestle and mortar and mix it with the wet food, that often does the trick.
  3. I found out quite by chance the other day that Classic FM have started another 2 classical music channels. Shame my Roberts radio only has 3 pre-sets...
  4. Mind you, they did play a ragtime piece at lunchtime today, which almost got my toes tapping...
  5. I can't actually remember which one I've ordered now, but it's not a bother. I can wait until it turns up. In the meantime, I'm resisting the temptation of a new Bachmann one...
  6. Until they get all the jazz off Radio 3 and onto it's own separate channel, leaving Radio 3 for pure classical music, they can be considered to be out of control as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure Noggin the Nog is still illegal in Norway and certainly looked upon disfavourably in Iceland.
  7. But if Chris were to do a 3-D printed one, I'd certainly buy it!
  8. I've just started assembling my laser cut kit of one of these this morning. Unfortunately there were one or two inconsistencies between the instructions and the kit parts provided. They implied (according to the instructions) that the door was separate, but it wasn't, so I can to very carefully cut the door out from the front section with a fine piercing saw. They said there were hinges to glue to the door(s). There weren't, so I made my own from 5 thou plasticard. They said there was a small piece of glazing for the window. There wasn't, but I'll probably not glaze mine anyway, as it will portray a somewhat disrespectable hut that's not used much now and has fallen on hard times.
  9. Indeed, having previously got everyone hyped up, that it was going to be another delightful and prototypical tank engine or possibly a very useful wagon. I, for once, succumbed to Rapido's invitation to froth and I now wish I hadn't!
  10. I can imagine people having to re-watch the programmes, to obtain maximum detail for their Ivor-themed layouts, so that they can post the photos in 'How Realistic are your models?'...😛
