It's why in the end, I decided to leave the wires off on Bovey Tor. I find it surprising why we care so much about fence wire, but not with telegraph poles. Which is probably a just as important, if not more so. it's a funny old world playing trains.

I think the trees look great. The overgrown beech tree doesn't really bother me. Nature doesn't give a tinkers about the permanent way. If it bothers you, just trim a wee bit here and there as BL suggests.

Very pleased to say that I've FINALY got the old modelling tools and paints out. Thought I'd make a fresh start, with a brick built shed. Only this one has seen better days, of course. No point modelling a new one, where's the fun in that?

Exactly right. I had boxes of the things. Wish I'd kept some of them. Ciggy cards, Brooke Bond Tea cards, Bubblegum cards, they were everywhere!
