  1. That must have been a bind for him if he wears glasses............ on the shed front they could do European ones too for the dudes on the giant continental rock.
  2. This is worth every penny if you want to see the sheds being built and how they are tested and brought here. https://www.cinerail.com/product/class-66/
  3. I see Rainbow Railways have reduced the Maritime model 66 they have,is this a sign...........Maritime must be a contender for Accurascaling
  4. Got to be an asset, hes from the North,i hope the deal has a comfy basket for Lulu,at least we should get stuff thats in his Transit quicker now, whens the Accuramag coming, well done for all concerned.
  5. To call it art the artist should have to buy and own the canvass, this kind of thing is just pure vandalism with no respect for others property.
  6. So are you saying that this is acceptable to damage a brand new unit before its even arrived for purpose,,,,,
  7. Aye the modern 37/4 is first here i think, this is for ROG and yellow network rail jobbies.
  8. Rails have a couple of Hattons ones listed on e bay for ok money if anyones wanting one
  9. Looks like we are game on again. just had the cough up on 29th of April
  10. Brand new and this happens to the first new Metro unit en route to being delivered to Heaton dept.......
  11. Now they have Richard Watson on board an O hst will be high on the list to be put in Transit...........Lulu can ride on it.
  12. Very true @TomScrut,it pushed the boundry out the park but was doomed with the poor running stima. All the raving at the time when cut and glued axle ends so the bogie matched the Bachmann jobbie it was compared to It was just a bridge to far without good QC,the Delorian of model rail,oh wait thats Irish...............
  13. They think its all over,it is now, that kind of thing, the stand will have to play Tina Turner at the shows....... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC5E8ie2pdM
  14. So is the axle end detail a cap on a longer axle now? and will the plastic detail be avalable as a spare, asking for a friend........while im on why is the gear tower not metal as putting the weight directly on the wheels has to be an advantage. @Accurascale Franor @McC
  15. Hattons will have made money out of this model and the tooling sale, the sheer volume and the fact that once folk realised it was fixable and it pulled like a randy blond they all went and few are for sale of them.Im glad i bought a SHED load of them as they sold out on pre order with sound and it was not long before the others went once the price dropped. The price of the bits now is daft with bogies, motors or sound removed ones in a good box.Its just nice to have Accurascales qc on the future batches and if its a dud its not just heres your money back as we dont fix things.
  16. At the time it was as good as it gets i think and anything like that will attract press good and bad i guess, lots of it now is that no one had seen a train crash and survived as it was before the CCTV and mobile phone captures everything,i wish we had pushed into more nuclear energy then and we would be far better off now. the industry publishes some good factual stuff too https://www.energy.gov/ne/articles/7-things-simpsons-got-wrong-about-nuclear
  17. Biffa was done by Hattons anyway so they are about unless they do it in early three window guise, and yes Evening Star has to be an Exclusive surly
  18. 66526 is named after the driver of 66521 in his memory, his son i believe is a driver now, unless you want to model Newport docks on the day the batch arrived and build the ship its best left, i guess 66526 would be more fitting.
  19. I have luck it seems Colin, its just mainly bad ha ha,worse things happen at sea do they not, just hope the neighbours like ying ying ying. I have the long white hair so im turning into a prophet it seems.
  20. Loctite 435 super glue, keep it in fridge and its expensive but it bonds everything as far as models is concerned.
  21. If you check this guy,s channel it has loads of them being unloaded new at Newport and some really good views of them https://www.youtube.com/@TheMichaelWilcock2016Railways
  22. With a bit work they can be made as good as it should have been, its just a to get a longer axle in to cure the axle box the lighting board fixes with the lights was something Hattons should have stepped up and sorted as if your not happy just return them is not what anyone wants to hear on a new model.I doubt Accurascale will be falling over themselves to do the ones Hattons released for a good while but time will tell.Im sure the lads will nail the axle box but would have liked them to have the body section lift out rather than the stack so it mirrored the real thing like the N gauge 59. Is there an award for longest thread, this will save you buying longer axles young fella.
  23. Looks a bit 59 with the shocks over the axle ends, these are for Egypt if i remember correct, they are sceen on Virtual Railfan grab bags from a few months ago so still being churned out. Evening Star has to be an Accurascale exclusives, cough cough.....
