  1. Ship 25,the next to fly on booster 9 was static fire tested yesterday.
  2. The LL blue fleet is on view on the site.........https://www.accurascale.com/collections/class-37
  3. Just check the scale you ordered, the 1/1 crews turn up eat you out of house and home and it gets tight on the sofa if the TV is good.
  4. So you get the full Montey less the sound, you have just invented the perfect marriage........:)
  5. Well proves you cannot win them all, should have a pole to see if correct scale size or light up was the way to go since it seems they are IR on the real thing, was sure i had not seen this in Kielder on RAC in the seventys and eightys, definatly different though, very to boldly go where others dont, hope it pays off with it being a bit niche:)
  6. @Accurascale Fran we need the rest of the train and wagons for this, pretty please.................:)
  7. John has done a lot of this to fix or swap motors on a few threads, hes the go too guy for info
  8. Attatching anything with glue to a rotating object is asking for trouble like the Hattons 66 was but i guess was the only solution to allow quick assembly to make thousands,as it needs to run true,Boudicia must have had her hands full driving the prototype, but as Fran has pointed out the A class is flawless. As ive posted getting a longer axle in is possible but takes time and patience.the origional one i did still runs fine to this day, a plastic end cap detail will be a handy spare as doing the metal sleeve and cutting the origional detail is chew. Just have faith in these guys and it will be worth the wait and be reliable, unless your the kid with a box of broken Tonka toys, its not for you.........:)
  9. The light bleed on the Hattons one needs addressed with the new model, the pink and cemex versions are a let down light up with lighting out in loft.
  10. Sitting in the bath with your new jeans on to shrink them and wash them out kind of style Mike, happy memories.
  11. Ying ying ying, looking good, after all the tears over nothing with the Hattons version this now should be a winner for you guys and us. Thanks for the update, just need to know what the other model in the line of nine is now....come on, spill the beans:)
  12. All this on the figures and models produced just proves we are all different and have differing skills and talents. The guys are just trying there best to give something acceptable, perfection comes at a price many would not want to pay,If your a budding Vincent get the pallet out and use what they supply as a canvas, blue and grey was it not.
  13. The railway was only 8 to 10 feet off the door to the outer track, the fish shop still stands today, the railway is long gone and houses in places where trackbed was,we have lost so much to no gain. cycle way now on map https://www.google.com/maps/place/Kler's+Fish+Bar/@54.8594243,-1.8003054,17z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x487dd41fd457e841:0x55e025220407f63!8m2!3d54.8594243!4d-1.8080302!16s%2Fg%2F1hc8xs9nk?entry=ttu
  14. It will be interesting to see what the new bogie design is for this model as from an engineering point the Hattons detail stalk glued onto the axle end was a poor idea to say the least, probably a miniture radial steering bogie like the real thing....:)
  15. Nothing worse than a big headed driver or fireman.....unless Modelu scanned the guys off Stingray or Thunderbirds by mistake.
  16. Quiet and 37 dont go together,as a kid when the ore trains ran past the chippy back door in Leadgate main street you felt the earth move and the fish jumped out the fryer.
  17. Accurascale should have commisioned Noch to make the figures, there would be more than tiny thumbs :)
