Hi Jason
The big difference is i didn't spin the out line, i extrude and scale not sure if it makes a great deal of difference.
Another difference is i don't add any points to the original circle but add a sub surface modifier after.
The models would need cleaning up with booleans etc. performing that modifier used to crash my old laptop.
The flares were done by quartering the model, mirror modifier on the x and y axis and proportional editing which is what you do.
Hope this helps
Regards Paul
Hi Jason I'll answer your call for other models
LNER F8.
GCR fish van.
Both of these models were done as proof of concept a couple of years ago one day I'll get them printed
As for the tutorial i think you've done a belting job, I only noticed the thread on about page 4 so couldn't help you out but really you didn't need any.
I'm self taught pretty much doing what you are. My Mrs reckons i could perform brain surgery if i could find a youtube tutorial
Regards
Paul
Morning Simon

Paul
Glad to be of service
I can do atmospheric.
And talking of Cats tried to adopt this little fellow during the summer as box cat. i think he comes from one of the farms near by.
Give me a couple of days Jeff (just finished nights,) and I'll see what I can do
Paul.
That's right Jeff, always glad to help were I can.
What colour ballast have you decided on?
Currently right outside we have red, white, blue, and green. Hope you can see on the photo.
Pre ordered mine from the Liverpool emporium. Good excuse not to finish the Pro scale one I've got tucked away somewhere. Personally I'm really excited about this bold move by Hornby. I don't see how "design clever" can muck this one up to much unless they try to mould the ACFI piping!
The Friends of the Settle to Carlisle Railway little red books had a series of articles last year written by an ex signaller from Dent during the 50's they're well worth a read. Personally I always fancied a layout of Dent in N Gauge so i'll be following with interest.
Looking forward to seeing the full item. For a bonus could also of been a Dia 137 converted buffet. Got an open first on my desk, which needs some final fettling.
A Couple of Shropshire's finest hostelries (taken on my phone so not the best quality)
The George Hotel
The Ball Makers Arms (Should get that sign fixed)
The Frog And Nightgown prior to renovation
All these Pubs are to be found on Scorbiton our 1980's layout
