Thanks David, that does give me some indication of how it's working and the decision to bring live users back in to trigger the indexing is obviously working too. It'll never be as fast as we'd all want but I'm sure it'll get there.

It's scaleable from Desktop through to Mobile, all in the same skin.

Simple answer? I don't know. The reason I don't know? No-one can tell me. Why can't they tell me? Because they don't know how long a lengthy, complex and slow process will take with almost 1 million images.

No; Tapatalk is basically free forum hosting so they can get ad revenue - this definitely isn't.

Yes; that's the Nuclear option to tidying up your feeds. It marks everything. I may get round to hiding it - I've done it accidentally on the mobile version before now.

More easily than before, just go to the first post in the topic and click on Edit.

Give things time whilst the indexing catches up - how many times am I going to have to say that? Don't buy a new car, TV, phone, washing machine etc - they all have more features on them than old ones.

1. I can't be expected to get everything back to normal on day 1. 2. It's usefulness will come a little later when all the indexing is done and as a portal into some of the new features.

When you get into it more you can select which forum/sub-forum areas you want to include/exclude from the feed too.

The warning boxes will go when those things are fixed - I need people to see them (doesn't mean they read them before they ask what they could have already read). The background isn't white, it's a very pale blue/grey and if I darken that it impacts on other elements so until I can adjust those it's the optimum balance. If you see it as white you may need to adjust your monitor settings anyway.

It's all part of the system catching up; expect anomalies - it's the new norm.

I've set it as a max 1200 width and height for now but may review that when I see how the responsiveness works across different devices - it's also to do with file size reformatting as I need to take mobile data into account etc.

Nice to see people looking and learning as they go! Beats writing an instruction manual as no one reads 'em. I was going to do some Youtube 'how to' videos but the unboxing video took far too long. :p
