  1. I will look to see if there can be one entry per gallery rather than per image but I wouldn't term it a 'problem'.
  2. 30 mins on the train up to Stafford will put you near Topp Trains who have a healthy N gauge range. They may even offer you a cuppa and let you scoff some sweets out of the tin on the counter.
  3. I sent our C down to Jerry Clifford who tested it with a set on a gradient and it seemed to cope well enough. https://www.world-of-railways.co.uk/brm/reviews/bachmann/review-graham-farish-secr-c-class-0-6-0
  4. I don't want this level of quality available to everyone, I want to pay 7-10 times that price for an experienced model builder to pass it on to a top painter to try and match the level of detail and finish. Done to death.
  5. I won't be giving you a qualified and reasonable response as it's gone 5pm. Have a nice weekend.
  6. When I know many businesses have workers who start early and often work at home in the evenings I raise a smile when I see poets' day being observed.
  7. Have a look at giffgaff, from the middle of August their £10 goodybag is 6gb and unlimited calls/texts with no ties.
  8. Which heritage railways or museums would that be then?
  9. And if you'd used the facilities available (paid for out of the pot) readers would have still been able to see your work -
  10. Expanded for clarity. :p

    Tim Allsopp

Really sorry to hear that news Neil. Tim had been here since the early days and offered some worthwhile opinions. a really nice chap!
  12. How so? We're completely open with advertisers about the number of impressions and clicks they get so those who ad-block wouldn't show in the figures anyway.
  13. At present it doesn't but we are currently looking at what gets served to whom. And why.
  14. Try the free version of malwarebytes too.
  15. Duly filed for future reference for the next occasion you cause any work for consideration in any action to be taken. Don't expect any support if you ever have any technical issue with the site.
  16. Let's assess the need once products have some updates etc.
  17. Thanks to the vigilance of another member the duplicate topics were removed. However, this topic was originally in Smaller Suppliers (now moved) so the duplicates were probably posted with good intentions rather than laziness.
  18. Happy for it to be in a general area as some analogue types may not see it in the DCC area. My feel for it, photographing exhibition and home layouts which are levels above 'train set', is that it's about 60/40 in favour of DCC these days as a whole. Towards the scratch/kit built stock 'finsecale' end though I would say it's 75/25 in favour of DC.
  19. Are you using an ad blocker when using RMweb?
  20. He'd be upset with that as he was from Stourbridge (it's a Black Country thing) but I agree that he should have a wider audience. He certainly made my lad more interested in English when he was taught by him.
  21. I'll understand that most people won't 'get' this stuff but these two do make me smile each time. Something for lovers of the Black Country.
  22. It's more about the image that you start with Rob. Create a 200 x 200 px square and then paste your pic into and centralise it; your ears look a bit wide so I'd suggest putting those across the centre line so the circularisation doesn't leave you lugless. Anyway, I think this is ewe so try using this version.

    EBay madness

Not sure why the link didn't auto-format and it wouldn't work for me on the mobile last night but it works on the PC when copy/pasted. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-39-280Z-BR-Mk1-FK-EX-Pullman-WREN-RTC-LAB-14-LTD-ED-for-Modelzone/283554657345?hash=item42052cb441:g:UjYAAOSwaQ9dM0Jt&redirect=mobile
  24. How can you be an optimist when the choice is to tread in a mound of poo or a puddle of sick, barefoot? Which is why we don't do politics.
