  1. Kit built King or Castle might do the work Ian? Think you are correct about the 'collection' of ER Stuff and the GWR (looking beautiful). I bought the 'rogue' Bulleid for an 'Offer'! Never been able to afford a Goddard Coach before. The Willets Suburbans (ER) are lovely and I built a couple of those kits some years ago for a 'Client'. Lovely Kits. Phil
  2. They look beautiful Rob and a gr8 price as you say. Looks like a decent Trader too. Not heard of the Shop before. Phil
  3. The Bournemouth run was relatively flat, going south west and the 73XXX were fast machines if not super powerful. However having travelled behind 73096 I thin k it was, a few times during 1990s, including Honiton Bank and Sapperton en route to Gloucester from Guildford( Honiton topped at 46m.p.h with 9 on and a trailing Diseasel and Sapperton a real gallop) I'd say they were pretty hot. Phil
  4. Scheduled 73XXX Timetabled going East from Exeter Central, was a fully fitted XP Vans from Central to NIne Elms, around Tea Time even on Summer Saturdays IIRC, circa 1960/1/2. I could dig out further details. I've also got crude yoof's spotting notes for Central and or 72A, from 1960/61 and '62 that includes 73XXX and deffo includes 73110 and 73111. NO idea why they were there though as stated I was a crude yoof! I've never knowingly saw a 73XXX leaving Central on an Up Passenger. I do have a pic of a 73xxx on the 3rd section of the final Up ACE in 1964; think it was 73084, but could check. Phil
  5. Same with Loco Crew Neal. I've been using Modelu HO on Engines for some time now. Accurascale Manor for example and also Dapol 63XX the standing figures look far too 'big' in those Cabs. Not thought too much about passengers before and tend to only use Window seat figures as these good Modelu ones are a tad expensive compared to cheapo Chinese rubbish that I use for in-fill! Cheers Phil
  6. @woodenhead...blimey, you've shown me how to do this. After years of failing. Cheers dude. @Mallard60022
  7. 34028 is Eddystone dude. 35028 is Clan Line, the Packet. Pitchford Hall looks very smart in Black. Sadly the Weather is not going to be kind to you tomorrow or Friday. However, I hope it is a splendid event as the Railway always looks good on the Grosmont Webcam Phil
  8. OK I've had a good look at the original Post (Number1) and I reckon I can create several Engineers/Support style Stock from some of these (LBSC etc). If there were unpainted ones (even just Bodies) available that would be amazing of course. NOW I see why so many here are excited about this development. Bl00dy fine effort Rapido. Thank you. Phil
  9. Is there enough interest or skills to allow a batch of unpainted/plain Grey for us that want to create our preferred Livery such as Engineers Red?
  10. 2253 is on one list but not on another AFAICS. P
