  1. Will it go round first radius curves? 😂 CJI.
  2. If anyone knows who might sell stolen goods and old tat in Blackburn, with a side interest in sea-angling, might they contact me by PM? CJI.
  3. ...... as previously mentioned in this thread - and I can supply those transfers ; see the Cambridge Custom Transfers website. The BR 1/581 version of the design will be published shortly - my transfer sheet covers both versions. John Isherwood, Cambridge Custom Transfers.
  4. I'd keep quiet about that, if I was you! We all do things that we regret later. CJI.
  5. The Bodmin & Wenford Bridge branch had one, I believe. Living close to the former branch, and having walked it, the clearances and curves apparently necessitated a SWB brakevan. You can't get much further from the NE Region than that! John Isherwood.

  7. The TROUT / GANNET in question is not the same one that Hornby produced. John Isherwood.

  9. If you are, or know, an N. ROUSE, who has made a recent BACS payment to Cambridge Custom Transfers, please contact me via PM. John Isherwood.
  10. So on the next shift, the signaller is 2m. tall - adjustable height handrail? Let's go the whole hog - eliminate all possible risk - ban preserved railways! Being born is risky - how are you going to legislate against that? What is wrong with society today? CJI.
  11. That list is the one that I used when designing the sheets - how I missed W17233, I can't immediately explain. I will check the list against the content of the sheets, and make such adjustments as are required. Watch this space! John Isherwood, Cambridge Custom Transfers.
  12. Thanks - await developments! John Isherwood.
  13. I'd love to do more - but I'm not aware of a more comprehensive list of AA20 numbers / allocations than the one that I have used. John Isherwood.

  15. Yes - St. Blazey coming very soon - WATCH THIS SPACE! Sorry, John.
  16. If Wakefield Council are incapable of resetting the rails and setts in a strong concrete raft - the rails won't carry trains after all - they should employ a competent contractor instead. Properly done, the crossing should far outlast the surrounding tarmac. From the appearance of the loose setts, they were not properly bedded when last relaid. CJI.

  18. "Great Western Wagons and their Loads" - OPC; I don't recall anything relating to Traxcavators. CJI.
  19. The GC was the initial test line; there were some tests on Shap, I believe; and the North Wales Coast line saw some runs. CJI.
  20. No idea - seems inappropriate. Does your previous statement of circumstances indicate that you are the legal owner? Perhaps add a comment to the effect that you are NOT a law enforcement officer, despite your subsequent tick in that box. CJI.
  21. Look upthread, there is a previous posting giving details; and similar for my version. ..... and it's a face shovel, not a bulldozer. CJI.
  22. Just choose the one most likely to get their attention quickest - you should be able to explain the exact situation in a comments box at the next stage. CJI.
  23. I would imagine that stolen property is prohibited! CJI.
  24. Very true - as an avid kit or scratchbuilder; I tend to overlook RTR. CJI.
  25. ..... but surely the satisfactory running of a newly-built model, and the need or otherwise of additional weight, is determined before the roof is finally fixed? Subsequent access to the interior should then be unnecessary. CJI.
