Perhaps reading the thread from the first post might help? Just a thought ...... 🤔 CJI.

"Glue n Glaze" - just watered down PVA?
John Isherwood replied to John M Upton's topic in Modelling Questions, Help and Tips

Very much in the vein of Peco interiors for Kitmaster coaches. CJI.

I know that you are joking but, believe me, I don't need or particularly want transfer business. It's just that it seems to be selfish to have the ability to produce my own transfers and NOT offer them to other modellers. Others may not believe this but - look at my face - do I care!?!? 😀 John Isherwood.

Sticking driving wheels through points
John Isherwood replied to DevilsAdvocate's topic in DCC Help & Questions
No mention of pick-ups yet? Electrically check each pick-up individually, and adjust each one until it gives continous conductivity through a full revolution, and at each extremity of its sideplay. CJI. -
Abandoned rails in the road.....(or elsewhere...)
John Isherwood replied to 33C's topic in Modelling musings & miscellany
Looking immediately in front of the tram - the roadway has been ripped up and the gauge bars are exposed below the surface. This is not just a one-off use of a little-used curve - something else has / is occurred / is occuring. CJI. -
I used the prototype image / waterslide technique for my Kitmaster Midland Pullman build - upholstery, carpets, end panel murals, the lot. You have to squint to tell, though! CJI.

I have this of BR Diagram 817; whether there were similar conversion diagrams for the other variants, I cannot say. E96202E (PRESERVED AT GCR) I have a higher resolution image of the drawing - email me at cctrans@hotmail.com is required. John Isherwood. -
Read my post above; it would be pretty pointless if it did NOT mention who I am. CJI.

Having done that degree of research, perhaps you can break that down between those that mention CCT, and those that don't? You will find that the vast majority do not, and where they do - it is in usually in connection with the thread subject. Very occasionally, I will mention a new sheet which has been prepared in connection with another supplier's kit, which has previously been mentioned. As I have frequently said, I do NOT chase additional business or rely on the modest income, but I do try to provide products that will make life easier for fellow modellers. That is not direct advertising in my book. John Isherwood.

...... but is capable of being 'got at' to produce respectable models of the prototype - I even managed to produce both lagged and unlagged versions. CJI.

For a small supplier such as myself, I find that word-of-mouth is the most effective way of publicising a quality product. In 25 years of running Cambridge Custom Transfers, I have never published an advertisement or attended a show as a trader - yet reputation sells all the product that I wish to handle at age 75! Abandoned rails in the road.....(or elsewhere...)
John Isherwood replied to 33C's topic in Modelling musings & miscellany
There was a pier, and the S&DJR operated steamers across the Bristol Channel to Wales. https://images.app.goo.gl/wVHKQpkTXgRpATgT9 CJI. -
Ah-ha - there were two designs of CONFLAT B - the later, longer ones were converted from FLAT EDs! (Mentioned in Paul's photo caption). I have modelled both. CJI.

Whoa! Look at that asbestos blanket flapping in the breeze! CJI.

The rails shown in the OP are narrow gauge, though; parallel to, and descending to, the beach. CJI. -
18100 / E1000 / E2001 from Rails/Heljan
John Isherwood replied to Ian J.'s topic in Rails of Sheffield
Now - I am usually opposed to 'what if' liveries. However, imagine this in Electric Blue, with off-white window surrounds and cast BR emblems! (Perhaps route indicator panels, too)? If only E2001 had lasted rather longer! CJI. -
