  1. Yeah you keep believing that, the only way you are going to get rid of that colour properly is to actually physically remove the nail varnish from your real toes! http://www.superdrug.com/Superdrug/Superdrug-Acetone-Nail-Polish-Remover-50ml/p/219149?gclid=CjwKEAjwl9DIBRCG_e3DwsKsizsSJADMmJ11Z03SeOtI8k6wx4VzXLZky4ZKTuGKg0-Ria9IZxzwFxoCfu3w_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  2. Yeah....right, we believe you! Could be worse though, could have been socks and sandals
  3. hmmm, ive just checked my iphone 6 and got the same message too, ill be gutted if i cant use touchcab anymore after the next ios update i think ive got an old ipod touch somewhere i can utilise for it though (assuming the ios that is running is compatable) aberdeenMRC/KFD any news on any futher developments?
  4. Well this thread has turned into a 'willy waving exercise'
  5. Some from earlier, popped out to fott the 88 on the northern belle, went down to LNWR for a different viewpoint away from the public! And the 88 68 on the rear And that was that, back to the station in a bit to get my train, too and tail 73s round Cheshire then drive off to westbury!
  6. I've just realised the time this comes back through crewe later is the same time I depart from there with my EDs!
  7. 88002 Passing Crewe LNWR by jim scott, on Flickr 88002 on the Northern Belle by jim scott, on Flickr just south of crewe
  8. Nowt special yesterday, medical in romiley near Stockport, decided to go by train Bendy bus from Piccadilly out via guide bride Old signal box at the jn, left to Piccadilly via brinnington and right via Hyde and guide bridge, there are a right mush mash of lines over this side of Manchester/Stockport And a 150 back via brinnington I didn't get any pics of the station building at romiley but it sure is an impressive structure, don't know it's company origins but I've never seen a station like it before, 2 flights of steps up to the Manchester platform, floor 1 takes you to the underpass to the Sheffield bound platform, certainly a prototype for everything station Edit: wiki link https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romiley_railway_station
  9. I'll give you a wave around crewe! Didn't know about this but I think a saunter down the station may be in order
  10. This thread has gone a bit too specific in its "ask's" for my liking now! Had someone not put a pic of a signal box I'd be asking what Mckenzie and holland was about now? Anyway for the next pic I want a photo of a pink train with old style OHLE flashes with a mountain in the background with snow on, narrow gauge loco imported from Glasgow works between the dates of 1-7 th June 1903 And the drivers name must be Jeff, who owns a cat called tiddles
  11. Come on DRS crewe, stop tantalising us with lists of locos you have bought we want to see photos!! (Not that I don't believe you have them or anything but you claim to have bought pretty much the whole Bachmann modern image back catalog over the last couple of years but are reluctant to share them with us!!)
  12. It's a redo from an old plain green Bachmann 37, added lights and yellow ends and Zimo sound chip
  13. Little bit more done, finished the main platform Extended the land above the tunnel mouth so the track isn't so close to the edge And built the new outside platform I then thought I'd see if my plan of removable retaining walls would work Magnetic tape on the rear wall And some on the rear of the retaining wall as well as some more l-cut wall formers And voila, strongly in place The offcut brick card will go on the inside of the rear wall, slightly higher than the outside (less than 1mm), I can then put some coping stones on top so the removable retaining wall can sit below it and slide out easily Seems to work, will add vertical columns between the card sheets on the outside to hide the joins
  14. Put a bit of primer on the 37 Also give the yellow ends a first coat of yellow paint but forgot to get a pic of it
  15. Mini workbench in the kitchen again Chipped up the NMT and arriva DVT Added shawplan brake discs to the 68s and nameplates to the DRS one I picked up a colas 37421 from the derby show today which I thought I'd have a go at backdating to a 37/2 with replacement grilles and light clusters etc Rubbed down the existing plastic grilles so they were flush with the bodywork and added shawplan etched grills in their place Added etches over the headcode panel as well as removing the ETH jumper and receptical from the nose end Etched depot plaques and "Cardiff canton"'nameplates Going to hand prime the rubbed down bits and grilles/headcode panels tomorrow hopefully then get some top coat on there then see if I can get some numbers made up (and get the new style colas helmet logos for it) Also going to need some new horns and a buffer head fitting as well as a couple of extra handrails on the nose ends I also tonight did a bit more to the NMT coaches, added some more laserglaze to one of the coaches and began to add PH designs etched brake discs to the wheels
  16. Some from Friday night/Saturday morning Crewe to rugby via Birmingham (30mph Stafford and back!) Crewe New st And then over to derby to stable, just in time for the model railway show in the roundhouse

  18. Back to the 70s again, 70816 from Lnwr to Basford hall first Then all 4 Basford hall to bescot Then it was remove 816 at bescot and take that as far as Nuneaton where I got relief and it continued to Doncaster And I'm looking forward to a nice cold beer and my own bed tonight, just on my way back from Nuneaton on a pendolino , been a mad couple of days getting these locos moved and that's it, no more, they are all here and no more planned
  19. caught a lot out that did, very few people about last night fotting, id expect more tonight, path is now showing as 18:00 off basford hall, shouldnt be far off that hopefully
  20. some from yesterday liverpool basford hall rear loco removed turned via gresty and into crewe station and into lnwr after that lot it was the logs to carlisle and into a hotel, later today its back from there to crewe to collect the locos again and take them to bescot then one if them is off to doncaster
  21. Just a few from last night, same train again Manchester to hellifield-Blackpool south-Blackburn-Bolton and longsight! Oxford rd And back to longsight Such a smart livery I'm now after rest preparing to head off to Liverpool to collect the 70s but there has been a balls up with the planning and it's 21:15 off Liverpool to crewe at midnight, only problem is I'm also booked to take the logs from crewe to carlisle after it and that's in crewe at 22:45!
  22. some from last night, finally got my proper camera running again, i'd lost the charger so i bought a new one and spare battery off amazon only to then find the original charger less than 10 minutes after the new one arrived by post! derby to crewe via leicester and manchester piccadilly leicester manchester put us into 14 which is rubbish for pictures! same train tonight, crewe to hellifield via blackpool south!
  23. It's not just you I though the same too
  24. Some from today, shunt in Derby A new 37 for me this morning, 409 "lord Hinton" which I had to put on Caroline, I've got the model rail ltd Ed of this loco so it's nice to finally get to have a quick go of it A fine selection of different nose ends on various 37s Our merl After the shunt I planned to go to carlisle for a long weekend in the caravan, I set off from derby for crewe in the van to get the train up only to discover in the edge of derby that the wcml is shut today and it would have been a bus from crewe to carlisle! A quick About turn and back to derby station to get a train via Leeds and the s+c Some from Leeds 158753, the first train I drove in my own after passing out for driving, was in fnw livery back then though Various units And my train to carlisle (158 on the rear) I rode with the driver using my northern cab pass so I could have a look over the s+c as I need to try and finally get it learnt for the log train when it restarts working via hellifield, never done Leeds to hellifield before, nice little run Only one pic from carlisle Then another train to wigton and off to the van for a relaxing weekend, need It after 5 hours on the train from derby to Wigton!
  25. I was hoping to have some but am struggling to get hold of Bryan to order a load of stuff off him couldn't get hold last week and he's closed this week for maintainance Roll on derby show next week to collect some from him direct
