another good example is wrexham general to wrexham central as the train doesnt pass the box at wrexham when you are on "the branch" to central you have to call the box and "give tail lamp", i did it this week when i took the 73s down there on a test train, passenger services have a phone on the platform for the guard to give tail lamp sutton bridge up loop in shrewsbury and craven arms down loop both have cameras linked to the box so the signaller can see the tail lamp pass as both are before the relevant boxes yes its a separate on/off switch on 66s alongside the rotary switch for the headlights -

unfortunatly no, the route conductor went sick, same tonight now, not doing the mersey at all (or the bootle branch) basically from crewe to northwich-chester-warrington-edge hill-warrington and direct back to crewe the only reason its only going edge hill is i dont sign from there to lime st as i only used to go as far as edge hill with the old fastline coal trains and havent had a chamce to learn the last little bit into the terminus -

these are in my work thread but i thought worthy of a view here too my job yesterday started at northenden jn, was a bit gutted as it should have started at chinley and got me a ride over the line from there (which ive never done), but as a plus side i got to have a look in the box cheshire lines backplate to the levers looking up from the ground floor, toilet on the first level, interlocking room on the 2nd (all electric now so no wires or bars stretching down anymore) and the cabin on the 3rd level, its weird being in the box though as the road passes by just below the window so you forget you are so high! one 'legend' that was dismissed on my visit was that the interior is painted sky blue as the signaller is a man city fan HOWEVER the guy on duty said "it used to be, im a red (united fan) and the other 2 signallers in the shift are blues (man city) and they arranged to have it repainted while i was on annual leave" "the day i came back the other signaller met me at the bottom of the stairs to relieve as he said he was in a hurry to get away, when i got up stairs i just went what the f*** have they done the b*******" on which he could hear the other signaller downstairs laughing his head off and shouting "city, city, city" back up to the cabin!- 447 replies

How about...... We watched it last week after finding it in a charity shop on DVD for 50p, if nothing else at least we helped some injured hedgehogs, truly awful but the kids liked it! Looking on Wikipedia it would appear that the film had a complete rewrite after Bob Hoskins and Dennis hopper signed up for it, both describe it as the worst thing they have ever done!! From Wikipedia..... Super Mario Bros. is a 1993 American science-fiction action comedy adventure fantasy film based on the Japanese video game series of the same name by Nintendo and distributed by The Walt Disney Studios through Hollywood Pictures, thus becoming one of several rare occasions where Disney and Nintendo have collaborated. The film was directed by Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel, written by Parker Bennett, Terry Runté and Ed Solomon, and stars Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper, Samantha Mathis, Fisher Stevens, Fiona Shaw and Richard Edson. The story revolves around the titular Mario brothers, as they find a parallel universe, ruled by the ruthless dictator King Koopa, who seeks to merge the two dimensions together so that he can rule both worlds, leaving it up to Mario and Luigi to join forces with Princess Daisy, the daughter of the world's displaced King, to stop Koopa. As of January 1, 2017, review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports that 15% of critics gave positive reviews based on 34 reviews, with an average rating of 3.7/10. The site's consensus states: "Despite flashy sets and special effects, Super Mario Bros. is too light on story and substance to be anything more than a novelty."Gene Siskel of the Chicago Tribune and Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times gave the film two thumbs down on the television program Siskel & Ebert At the Movies, and the film was on their list for one of the worst films of 1993.Michael Wilmington of the Los Angeles Times disapproved of the film's script. However, Hal Hinson of the Washington Post gave a positive review, praising the film for its spirit and later went on to say, "In short, it's a blast."Janet Maslin of The New York Times gave another positive review, but said that the film "doesn't have the jaunty hop-and-zap spirit of the Nintendo video game from which it takes – ahem – its inspiration."

done a little bit tonight, where i replaced the hump incline a few months back ive had some track 'floating' supported by bits of polystyrene while i checked the running so i decided to sort that out when i had the new kitchen fitted the new oven was packaged on the corners using some sturdy right angled cardboard which i slit along one side so it could follow the curve of the trackbed, while in position i marked the overlapping card and cut away the overlapped bits and back in place just need to secure it in place before i fix the track back down (only put back to avoid damage)

Painted up the modules on the mpv this evening and hand primed the cab Unfortunately I tried to hand paint the yellow and it went on awful so once it's dry I'll restrip it and have a go with the airbrush Even rough though it's getting there While I was waiting for paint to dry I stripped the 'old' decals off the NMT ready for the 2013 style to be added -
