I’m easily pleased, Matt Lucas liked one of my tweets earlier, made me smile and made my day!

The single line bit is Lenton curve, we used to use it as the light engine turn back when running round coal trains at beeston before it was resignalled, there is a dedicated run round loop now nearer beeston (not that it’s used much any more either) other than the below test train I’ve not been round there for A few years! -

Just one from yesterday, bit of an odd looking shot with the lamp in the middle but an unusual view of landor st jn, (taken safely from the walking route behind a protective barrier) freightliner 66 waiting to crossover into lawley st, HST heading to derby and voyager heading to new st! -
Maybe he’s a Nigerian prince who got lucky with one of his emails?

GTA isn’t as violent as it used to be, the original was all car jacking and running over people but having seen Dominic playing it it’s almost a business simulator in places, he runs nightclubs and has income coming in from then but has to hire DJs and pay staff etc, he even has to pay Income taxes! ok there is still the violent side of it but I just enjoy driving round and having a look at the map when I get hold of the joypad, admittedly it’s not for me either but it’s certainly a constantly evolving game with each update, apparently there are different modes to but with varying degrees of violence, Story mode, on line mode etc i much prefer a gentler game of mario kart!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52773032 I just happened to be out the front of my house with the youngest lad at 8pm last night doing something else and some of the neighbours came out and clapped and banged pots and pans whilst giving us dirty Looks for not joining in! let’s hope it has run its course

Some from this evening, Wrexham to landor st with a cement train, I was supposed to get on at shrewsbury but the other driver lives in north wales and his car was in Wrexham and it was as easy for me to get there as shrewsbury so I did that, and it keeps me refreshed on the route! This picture I purposely stood where I did for a reason to compare it to this one from about 1985 and closer it came a blast down to shrewsbury where one of my former colas trainees was heading to pantyffynon with 97303 and that was about it, ran 3 hours early so got put into oxley until time before heading to landor st -
Whereas a petrol station near me that is also a Sainsbury’s local still had stacks of large free range eggs going cheap (no jokes) as they are near their date, 40p for 1/2 dozen, got to be 30 or so boxes worth

Exclusive OO Gauge Class 89 produced by Accurascale
big jim replied to Oliver Rails's topic in Rails of Sheffield
that was me! as someone else mentioned a few pages back I wonder if they can add on a ‘current guise’ run in whatever livery it comes out in when it emerges from toton paintshop The general consensus is it will be one of its original intercity liveries but obviously it will gave up to date ohle stickers, cantrail stripes etc -

The first sampler looper type equipment I got was on the deejay app For the iPhone/iPad so I’m quite late into that side of thing I’m still more ‘old school’ mixing style from my vinyl days where what was in front of you was what you had to use, no sampling or loops but I do use them now and again Annoyingly algoriddim deejay has just stopped support to Spotify and switched to tidal so I’ve had to switch to that however i have discovered that they have video/visual mixers that I’m getting into playing with now, it would be good if I can get it to run through the screens in the pub I DJ at

I was thinking it was something to do with the PS2 ‘music’ game, revolutionary at the time but looking back now, terrible, you could record about 5 seconds of very poor quality sound to sample iirc

Looking back at my old workbench thread it looks like the March 2017 copy of BRM has a conversion article

I was shocked to see RDR2 was 104GB while I was freeing up space last night, behind it was GTA5

I’ve managed to get some power lien adapters to work between the house and man cave so the Xbox one is hard wired now and soooo much quicker, previous WiFi download speeds were something like 0.5 mbps and now I’m getting 17-20 mbps doms going to put his PS4 in there too and I need to set up the spare switch dock again, the only other thing I need to buy is an Ethernet splitter so I don’t have to keep changing the cable between the Xbox and PS4 As the layout is getting to a point where most of the woodwork is done the man cave is now in a better position to be used as a gaming room too as were not falling over big bits of wood and work benches
