  2. Some from today, thought I’d got away with dodging the RHTT but have ended up with a week of it starting out of kings norton this year as opposed to bescot ready to go It then runs to landor st, across Sutton park, Walsall, Aston, stetchford, Coventry to rugby where it changes ends on the goods line It then runs to stafford where I put it in the tamper sidings for the next driver and I head off home, I’ll try and get some pics of that bit tomorrow As I’ve got it until Thursday now but the rest of the week I pick it up from bescot earlier on and take it up to kings norton too
  3. The flat roof on mine is a GRP fibreglass thing, sat on 18mm marine ply with (at the insistence of the building inspector) 100mm of solid, celotex type insulation, with an air gap he wouldn’t let me use rock wool, I suppose with the air gap it could get wet or allow small animals or birds to get in the roof space
  4. i dont know, i could have taken it to kings norton direct from landor st, something different though
  5. And a couple while arriving into crewe on my train home merseyrail units, again Sadly graffiti attacked, one thing I noticed is the end vehicles have one set of doors and the middle coaches have 2 sets
  6. Have a look at my garage conversion thread from this post and the next few down, you can see what I put down on the concrete floor of my garage, no issues with it at all nearby 2 years down the line
  7. Some from today, couple of moves, first up 66779 from bescot to new st where it then went on to cardiff Bescot green is the colour! Into New St then back to bescot for a hire car and back to rugby for 6G50 back to bescot with 66705 Bescot and while heading for my train home the Pride Pendolino was sat in new st a week of RHTT coming up now
  8. Narrowed the front windows a bit and primed Then hand painted, I just put some humbrol 18 blue on the window and door for now, will rub it back and put some DRS blue on instead and on the push pull rake

    On Cats

Maude the current foster was spayed today, microchipped to so she’s looking for a new home, she’s quite chilled but doesn’t like other cats, hisses at our 3 but she will eat with them and be in the same room but only for a short while, she’s really affectionate though, loves a Stoke and tickle on the head! as for the kittens, managed to get a few pics, could only manage it with the flash though, and I think I managed to get a pic if each of the 4, hard to tell with a couple of them as you can see they have been having lots of fun in the litter tray! They are all fully litter trained though
  14. I don’t know, it looks nice anyway whether it is or isn’t! thought I’d got away with it but looks like I’ve got a week of RHTT coming up next week!
  15. download the new Lidl app to your phone, not only do you get discount vouchers, it also keeps An electronic copy of your receipts on there, handy as a few things I’ve had from Lidl (and Aldi) have broken a few months down the line and I’ve not got a clue where the receipt is!
  16. what did I start posting that tweet! for fullness here is where the car entered the platform, no expert but looking at the tyre tracks it looks to be have been wheel spinning up the curve and through ‘the gravel trap’
  17. if you look at the hattons site it says the latest 2nd hand items are uploaded at 17:30 daily Monday to Friday (not just 66s) cue a scrummage at that time every night from now on as people try to grab a £100 bargain 66
  18. I was also 12 in 1987, I wonder if our paths crossed at the open day all those years ago?
  19. And as pointed out on Twitter, no damage to the platform edge either, you would expect scraping if it was going slow enough to nose dive, hence why I too think it must have been going some!
  20. What amazes me is the airbag hasn’t gone off! pics of the car after recovery show it far more damaged after being winched on the tow truck the than when it Flew off the platform
  21. Nuneaton this morning and a couple of random ones from crewe just now, taken from the window of my train into work, missed a shot of a West Country doing a bit of shunting but on LSL there are the newest acquisitions of EMT power cars and parked just outside the station in the down relief sidings, a pair of class 40s!
  22. Ok it’s not a level crossing but 10 out of 10 for effort
  23. It doesn’t work anyway so you could always stick a cosmetic one on
  24. Trafford park all week, first night of it last night with 66789 stopped at Styal as usual but got some pics this time And into Nuneaton this morning
