Some from tonight, did a bit of 196 testing, had another driver with me refreshing the units so he took it back to Tyseley for me which is a bonus as I have to do the job myself for the next 2 nights so nice to get an early finish as it’s quite a demanding job with lots to do while testing Tyseley new st Into Stafford where TFW 197001 was on test We then went to nuneaton and back to crewe Where 197001 came in from Stafford and provided a perfect photo opportunity! And then it bucketed down 57307 and a pair of colas 56s Back to 196 testing tomorrow night

Some from last night back to the ballast at West Hampstead, also a possession going on on the met ready to leave, 90 mins late but didn’t matter as I was booked to sit in Oxford parkway for 4 hours due to a possession in front of me! had to wait for a jubilee line train to pass by to illuminate the loco! and back in hinksey and run round 196s tonight

I’ve struggled with paying for the KUAs, in my email it said the total to pay was £108 which I paid with PayPal I’ll be honest and set I can’t remember what the wagons cost so I paid £108 as per the email by PayPal, I’ve now noticed after paying my email had no vat showing but invoice has vat at £21.66 on to so I think I’ve under paid by that amount?

Some from yesterday, during the day I walked from the hotel to parliament hill in Hampstead Heath to see the view when I got there it was lovely Then the wind got up and a huge black cloud came over however it didn’t actually touch the Heath but went over the city it looked amazing to see the landmarks such as the post office tower and the shard just disappear into the downpour And then 20 minutes later totally clear again! on the way back I walked past a very spooky looking Highgate cemetery, just googled it and wish I’d have gone and had a look in there now! and into the evening, off to Cambridge this time Ferme park cambridge back to Ferme park via south acton to reverse but couldn’t be bothered with piccies!

We’ve got a foster cat with us at the moment who is about 15, lives on a holiday park all his life living off the generosity of the residents, quite happy, popular with everyone, anyway a new manager has come in and decided he doesn’t want him there so got the rescue to pick him up, he’s absolutely heart broken, doesn’t understand why he’s suddenly stuck in a house, keeps disappearing into cubby holes etc, I’ve set up one of our ring cams to capture his movements though, he is coming round a bit The residents of the site started a campaign to get him back, we are all set to take him back to where he belongs but the site owner has said ‘he can come back but he may go missing in the middle of the night’ meaning he will take him and dump him away from the camp as ‘he’s been attacking dogs’ he’s the most docile, placid laid back cat you could ever meet, slow on his feet and despite being confused as to what’s happening at the moment is very affectionate when you can find him, there’s no way he will have attacked anyone unless in self defence he’s even managed to win Lola over, she’s not one for other cats at all but he managed a kiss from her the other night

Some from last night, derby to Ferme park via Marylebone derby changing ends in the station Marylebone West Ruislip and into Ferme park back on it tonight to Cambridge via Royston and a bit more of the north london line to south acton

Fantastic, ordered 2 sets of them to run with my Bachmann JPAs, was gutted to have missed the first run so am a happy bunny now as I work these wagons out of clitheroe now and again

Made up my OO gauge versions of the 3D printed ones off eBay, pleased with them, sight warping from the box but nothing major once the points had been glued to the holders and clamped in place while the glue set I know the wagons are the wrong colour as I’ve used GBRf FEA wagons but I’m not bothered personally
