    Ullapool

Ullapool is a town in Ross-shire, Scottish Highlands. Despite its small size it is the largest settlement for many miles around and a major tourist destination of Scotland and the Ferry terminal for services too the Isles of Lewis and Harris Parliament granted permission in the 1890s for a railway from Ullapool to the main Highland network at Garve, but insufficient funds resulted in the scheme being abandoned. It was the junction for the Callander and Oban Railway, and the Caledonian connected to Oban via the Highland Railway at Stanley Junction, north of Perth. So, what if the Caledonian had built a line too Ullapool? What if 1923 never happened? As a newbie too the construction side, I am using what ever is available kit wise. Fine detail can come later. At present the station is under construction, and trying to catch the 1890-1923 atmosphere. The Caledonian absorbed numerous company's, so these had their own distinctive style of station. Revamped the station. more in keeping with the 1890's 1900's onwards. Added 2 Ratio signal box chimmeny's to satation building Telegraph poles and LMS fencing. Repainted in cotswold stone as far as I could match it. Ratio GWR 4 wheller being painted in Caley colours. Have Ratio celestory coaches to build and paint. Gas lamps are non working, led ones will be fitted later. Thats it for now as far as the station goes. Need to get the frame made.
